According to the authentic Hadith “women shouldn’t not stop from visiting mosques” BUT “it’s better for woman to pray at home then to pray in masjid Nabavi behind the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). So it shows that it’s more rewarding to pray at home.

@TheManOfPeace Who exactly told you It's better for women to offer Salah at home? Did you made that up? If offering Salah at home was better then why did women offered Salah at masjid during prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) era? Why they offered salah at masjid during the rule of four Khalifa?

However, women should not be barred from entering a masjid. If a woman is on a long journey then where should she pray?

Hadith is authentic but it lacks the context. Here it is:, i dont remember exactly the names etc but here it goes: There was a woman who prays all the salahs in masjid and spends most of her time there, neglecting her duties. When it comes to Hz Muhammed sav attention, he said these words for her situation. Thats not a mandatory thing to pray salah at homes, deeper rooms of our homes etc... If this was the case, it would be more clear and we would find it in more hadiths because that is an important issue.

Yes! In turkey the situation is exactly like this! We pray salah out of the Mosques and god forbid if a woman wants to pray jumah salah! Our places are sometimes next to toilets, next to shoe areas, out side the mosque, best scenario, we are divided by a wall or sth like that. I want to enjoy my salah with the crowd! I come all the way to pray in that beautiful mosque and i cannot even see it unless i am a tourist!

Umrah Bint Abdur Rahman narrates that Sayyidah Aisha raḍyAllāhu 'anha (may Allāh be pleased with her) said : “ If the Prophet of Allah ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) was to know the situation of today’s women, then he would surely stop them from coming to the Masjids, just like the women of Bani Israeel were stopped (from entering their places of Worship). The narrator says: “I said to Umrah were they stopped?”, she replied: “yes”. (Sahih Bukhari p.120 v.1, Hadeeth number 869)

By all means women can go only if they bring disciplined children with them. I couldn’t even do Sajdah cause a toddler kept kicking me! After the prayer was finished, I politely said, you could pray in a separate room with your child! I couldn’t even finish my sentence she attacked me as if I made a major sin! It was right before the pandemic started! Soon after sometime we all were forced to pray @ home during pandemic! Some women think the prayer room is their child’s playroom! May they be guided in the right path!

Sayyiduna Umar ibn al-Khattab (Allah be pleased with him) in his time felt that the concession given to women for attending the congregational prayers in the Mosque is sometimes being misused and could be misused even more in the future. He felt that women were no longer taking care of the Shariah requirements as they used to in the time of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace), and he was also aware of the fact that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) advised women to offer their prayers at home. Hence, keeping all of the above in mind, he issued a verdict that women should no longer attend congregational prayers in the Masjid, and this decision of his was collectively accepted by the other Companions. (See: Ayni, Umdat al-Qari, 3/228)

Similarly, Sayyiduna Abd Allah ibn Mas’ud (Allah be pleased with him) used to refuse women entry to the Mosque for Friday prayers and would say: “Go, your homes are better for you.” (Recorded by Imam Tabrani. See: al-Targhib wa al-Tarhib, 1/190) Sayyida A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: “If the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) was alive to see what women are doing now (in A’isha’s time), he would surely have prevented them from attending the prayers in the Mosque just as the women of Banu Isra’il were prevented.” (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

@seekerofguidance 7 ай бұрын
The renowned Hadith scholar and Hanafi jurist, Imam Badr al-Din al-Ayni (Allah have mercy on him) states whilst commentating on the above statement of Sayyida A’isha: “Had A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) witnessed what women are involved in the various types of innovations and wrongdoings these days, she would have been even more extreme in her preventing women from entering the Mosques……Also the fact that there had not been a long time between her statement and the demise of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace), and also the fact that women in her time were not involved in even one portion of a thousand of what women are up to these days.” (Umdat al-Qari, 3/230)

It is stated in al-Fatawa al-Hindiyya: “The Fatwa these days is that it is disliked for women to go to the Mosque for all prayers, due to widespread corruption.” (al-Fatawa al-Hindiyya, 1/56)

Imam al-Kasani (Allah have mercy on him) states: “It will not be permitted for young women to go to the Mosque for congregational prayers due to the fact that Sayyiduna Umar (Allah be pleased with him) prevented women from doing so. Moreover, women’s going to the Masjid is a cause of mischief (between men and women) and mischief (fitna) is Haram, and that which leads to something Haram will also be unlawful.” (Bada’i al-Sana’i, 1/157) Another classical Hanafi jurist, Imam al-Haskafi (Allah have mercy on him) states: “It is disliked for women to attend congregational prayers in the Mosque even for the Eid and Jumu’a prayers, and even for old women attending night prayers, according to the more reliable position in the Hanafi School, due to the corruption of the time.” (Radd al-Muhtar ala al-Durr, 1/566)

Going to the Mosque is not wrong for women but yes there should be a partition between men and women because of keeping the decency and Hayaحيا . The positions and moves during salah can create uneasiness between the two sex. It is better to be behind partition. My opinion to keep away fitna and flourish the respect and haya.

Just wanna say that the hadith about women better off praying at the back rows rather than front ones resonates very very well in modern times. In every masjid, women at the front rows are always the chatterboxes who come to socialize and gab with the neighbors, and once they're done they clap out loud in annoyance why the masjid is noisy, as if they were the guardians of peace and quiet and khushuu. They also appoint themselves as the morality police, criticizing the girl on their left for wearing shear socks or the girl on their right if the bangs came out slightly from beneath the hijab. How come you saw all of this if you are truly concentrating on your prayer?? The Prophet spoke the truth. And honestly we concentrate better at home and achieve more khushuu than with the company of such nuisance.

What?? Maybe women in your household are like that, but that doesn't mean every woman is like that. Even after Nouman Ali Khan mentioned all of these, people like you still seem to bash women. Prophet Muhammad didn't want women to pray in the front because of the fithnah it can cause. Just imagine if the man in the story was so distracted by women in the back row when he was in the front doing sajdah, how much more distracting it could be if women were allowed to pray in the front? It's common sense akhi/ukthi

@@seekerofguidance It was wrong of me to assume and i am sorry for that. He mentioned/implied that seperating women and men in masjid with wall or curtain etc coming from Hz Muhammed is not true. And you said what Nouman Ali Khan said were fabrications. Thats why i told you about non existance of hadiths about a wall in masjid. You can joke about sahaba and your imaan will be safe if it is well built. Sahaba would joke among themselves you must know better than i do. I dont take it as mockery especially if it is true. And no matter what, you will never be certain about those times and sahaba because hadiths are basically historical events. Historical events cannot be %100 accurate. They are not protected by Allah. And sahaba are human too. Even Hz Muhammed sav did mistakes and was corrected by Allah immediately, how can you protect and obey sahaba blindly like it is a matter of imaan? This is fundamentally wrong. I dont believe Nouman Ali Khan would spread random nonsense. Just because you dont know doesnt mean it didnt happen. You may have graduated from a univercity, but that does not make you an authority on this topic. You need to be more humble i think. And no, i dont follow him blindly. I think he is a gem yes. But i dont agree with him sometimes. Brother, you are a keybord warrior looking for a debate. No, i wont go and search for authetic hadiths just to answer you. Thats a waste of time for me. If you were a non muslim that would be a different case of course. I dont care about hadiths if i dont need a guidance that i wont find in Quran. What would i gain if you were right? What would i gain if i am right?

@@Maha_vali Segregation of both males and females have been established from Sharia. I don’t believe you have come across Ahadith where Rasulullah instructed his own wives to veil from the blind Sahabi To joke or ridicule about any of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ will immediately take a person out of the fold of Islam. This is the belief of the Ahlus Sunnah consensus and you are not educated to speak otherwise. I pray to Allah you repent and never utter such a statement ever again. It is also amongst our belief that all of the prophets are innocent. I am honestly amazed at how you could quite easily slander them yet hold Numan ali khan as flawless. In fact you can be certain because just as Allah has protected the Quran, he has also protected Ahaadith which is the Mafhum of the Quran. I’m baffled at your lack of understanding when it comes to the basics If it did happen, please provide evidence, I am still waiting? Belittle and degrade Sahabah, making them appear to be people who follow their desires when they were in fact, the most disciplined and intelligent people on earth. More intelligent than you and I Actually, I do have authority to ask for evidence if something which degrades Sahabah is mentioned. Such a statement should be retracted and I pray he sees this message and publicly retracts it. Otherwise, I have his number and will be messaging him directly. If I was looking for a debate why would I say I am not a keyboard warrior? You should perhaps stop slandering and go research the harms of speaking without knowledge. You wont be able to provide a single hadith because sadly there are none to back up his statement. Astagfifullah, how could a person say I don’t need hadith? Go and ask someone of knowledge regarding the person who rejects hadith. You are seriously degrading no one but yourself right now. If I were you, I would be very careful as you’re saying things which could potentially take a person out of the fold of Islam. Rejecting the fundamentals, degrading the Sahabah, accusing the Ambiya as making mistakes. These are serious crimes which I pray you turn to Allah in repentance. Rather than wasting my time responding, you should actually go and study religion because clearly you lack understanding. Its actually only people who have little knowledge like yourself who would believe in the nonsense mentioned. Allah protect everyone. If I was correct, you would gain clarity of the situation and understand religion better. I actually would like to humbly request you if you have even an iota of Imaan, then please read the below to gain understanding of how the segregation actually works markazulfiqh.com/2021/11/30/hanafi-ruling-on-women-attending-congregational-prayers/ www.zamzamacademy.com/2013/01/qa-women-praying-in-congregation-by-mufti-abdur-rahman-ibn-yusuf/ daruliftaa.com/womens-issue/women-praying-at-the-mosque/

@@Maha_vali According to the sharī‘ah, a woman is required to stay at home and not emerge except for something the sharī‘ah has sanctioned or some genuine need. This measure is put in place from the Divine Legislator (shāri‘) for preserving the sanctity and stature of women themselves. Consider the following: Allāh Ta‘ālā states in the qur’ān: وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَى… “Remain in your homes, and do not display (your beauty) as it used to be displayed in the days of earlier ignorance (pre-Islāmic era) … ”Qur’ān: 33:33 عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بن مسعود، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: المَرْأَةُ عَوْرَةٌ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَتْ اسْتَشْرَفَهَا الشَّيْطَانُ ‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd (raḍiyallāhu ‘anhu) narrated that the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “The woman is ‘awrah, so when she goes out, shayṭān casts his gaze upon her [to tempt her and tempt others with her].” Ḥadīth: al-Tirmidhī - 1173
