My brother-in-law's dad feeds raccoons. One of the older raccoons (who is nearly blind) always arrives with an escort of two cats who guide him to the house. They make sure that he gets to the food because they know that they ALSO get to eat for protecting him. They are protecting their senior meal ticket. 😂

Wow! We have 4 raccoons that hang around here, come out at night (we have cameras). One morning my husband found a stray cat just ripped limb to limb on the front lawn…I did look it up and raccoons will kill cats. And those things are BIG!

Indeed they do! When bunnies punctuate a "zoom" with a jump-n-twist move, it's called a "binky". When rats or guinea pigs do it, it's called "popcorning". Critters do this for a whole host of reasons...the longer you're with your critter, the better you'll be able to interpret just why they're "binkying" or "popcorning". Enjoy your bunny! 🙂

On the road I was brought up on there was an elderly man with a very hunched gait, almost doubled over. He'd very very slowly go for a walk up the road, and when he passed one particular house there'd be a black cat sitting on the front wall waiting for him at just the right height. Without the man stopping the cat would step on to his back and sit there , thus getting a free ride all the way to the end of the road.

Can't understand how my cat understands everything I say and I can barely understand a few things she says. If I say squirrel she runs to the window with the tree were they go, if she comes over and wants to go out I tell her her door is unlocked and she goes out. If she comes up licking her mouth and I tell her hold on she sits staring like you know what I'm doing here feed me. Just stares until I get up and feed her . if I say I put fresh food up she goes straight to her bowl. Today there was a rainstorm and she is afraid she went under the chair and I said you can come over here I'll keep you safe she jumped right up. I don't get it. No baby talk no repeating just straight up understands everything I say like I'm talking to a person but she doesn't say I love you like I seen other cats do but I never asked her.
