My dad used to have one drill with a drill bit and one with a Philips head bit. Then I gave him an impact driver and some torx head screws. Rocked his world 😂

Little tip for the target use 10x10 cm wood that save a lot of work to cut the wood u only need 16-25 peaces

But that would take all the fun out of it.

Scouts used to have a carpentry merit badge, I don't know why they would not just have the kids build them even though they don't get credit.

Was thinking the same thing. Scouting used to be about learning how to do things with adult supervision. What a wasted opportunity not having the scouts at least participate in the process. I' m not saying turn the kids loose with the power tools but at least marking up the wood for cutting and then the stacking/gluing of blocks and painting.

it seems those look like cub scouts. Not boy Scouts. I think.

Can I just use a painting canvas?

To throw tomahawks at? I would not advise it.

I honestly don't know how strong painting canvas is and what you can safely throw at it. I don't feel confident telling you to throw anything at it.
