This is fantastic. Would love to get my 19 year old son there. We're only 2 1/2 hours away. I've been a Hot Tuna fan since the early 70's. Seems like good, down to earth people.

I went twice several years ago to attend Ed Gerhard's fingerstyle acoustic classes. Coming from Mason, OH it really wasn't such a "fur peace" for me to travel, but once there you feel like you're in another world. Jorma, Vanessa and John make you feel at home from the second you land on the property. The classes are great, but I even loved break times, when you walk outside the classroom cabins (with your guitar of course), meet other students, sit around and jam, share tunes, tips, etc. Total immersion in the music and camaraderie all weekend. And the food!!! Are you kidding me? One of my most memorable and surreal experiences was being on stage for the student performance and having Jorma in his stocking feet setting me up, adjusting the microphone, etc. Yeah Jorma... founding member of Jefferson Airplane, played at Woodstock etc, etc, etc. on stage with me. Still have that photo. My recommendation: If you can go, go! Jorma, Vanessa, John, wishing you all continued success and happiness!

I'm quite honored to have some HEART in that action. Jorma & Vanessa and I have been friends and family since their craft landed in Southern Ohio back late in the last century. More genuine and respectable characters I have yet to encounter in my journeys around this rock upon which we make our homes. It is a pleasure to grow and live in the same space and time.... The FPR has brought immeasurable joy and happiness to my life...the music is magic and the crew magicians.. :-) MY PLEASURE INDEED!! Thank you J&V... ol' Jer

I was there in 00 (Jorma), 01' (GE) and '02 (Jack). My souvenir furpeace ranch shirt is a bit tattered but the memories of fine tunes and hospitality endure.

I wish I could go to the ranch. This looks like fun and a great experience. I'm so grateful you guys have been doing the free shows during quarantine. Once life gets back to a new normal I'd love to find a way to get out to Ohio.

Nicely done Andie and Eric. As a NJ-based Repeat Offender who has made the pilgrimage to FPR sixteen times since 1999, I can attest that it really doesn't get any better than this.

I was not in your class (I was with Ed Gerhard), don't remember what year, but somewhere around 2006. Still remember hearing you play and thinking "Who the hell is this guy?!?" What masterful playing! Your solo acoustic rendition of Tied To The Whipping Post has stuck with me all these years later!

Looks like bucket list stuff :) Looks like a blast Visited a buddy that moved out there from AZ, and rented a Harley in Dover Ohio, back in 07, for a couple days, and rode southern Ohio, McDonald county, through Amish country. Riding with Amish buggies rollin' down the road :) Beautiful scenery, deer all over, so riding fast wasn't on my list there, till I got on the interstate The most remote roads had the grass cut on the side of the road, well manicured roads, and great food, and good times
