About 2 years ago I stopped by a little shop that started carrying Furch guitars just to check out the brand. I had absolutely no intention on buying another guitar that day. I played everything they had on the wall and they had a really good selection. I kept coming back to the Vintage 2 OM, there was just something special about it. I got all the way to the door before I turned around and said I’ll take it. I have played many fine guitars in music stores over the years but this was the first time I just couldn’t leave without it. When I showed up at home with a guitar case in hand my wife was a little surprised. As soon as she saw the guitar and I played it for her she smiled and said I understand, that is a great guitar.

I recently bought Furch Vintage 1 OM-SM and I am in love of this guitar. It costed ~1540 USD (in Poland), which is a bargain for such a quality instrument. The sound is truly amazing.

Are the differences between these vintage pure and say a Violet D-SM strictly aesthetic or do they have different tonal qualities? ex. Modified bracing?

Guys I was in Guitar center whjch I usually do not buy from There was a one owner Furch 2DR hanging on the wall. Tried and was like I can’t believe the tone and the purfling on the Sitka top was stunning. Plus the gist of the original builder during communism made this guitar even more worthy of keeping it which I cherish. Great builder and I own two Bouchers

How do you think the pure compares to the vintage 1 Sr or the vintage 2?
@guidolucas58798 күн бұрын
You forgot to tell at least the smallest guitar in this video are avalable in 43, 45, and 48 mm nut. (I own a 48 mm). And so do a lot other models from Furch.

Been looking at the Yamaha A3 series for a long time, specifically the AC3R and would be curious to know your thoughts on that series versus these.

The Furch mahogany OM sounds fantastic. Would love to see you compare this to a Larrivee OM-40m as these sit at a similar price point in the market. Someone already compared the Furch Vintage 1 SR (rosewood) to the Larrivee OM-40r (rosewood) and the Larrivee surprisingly sounded slightly better than the Furch, but the Furch mahogany sounded fantastic in your demo. I am a huge fan of both of these under rated brands. In all fairness they should both be outselling Martin and Taylor in the $2K to $3K price category. They both blow away the over spec'd (Adirondak, Madagascar rosewood) but under performing Eastman guitars I have played. KZbinr musician Cory Heuvel's main guitar is a Furch Vintage 1 OM mahogany (earlier sold under Stonebridge brand name). He is among the best of the solo acoustic cover artists on KZbin IMO. kzbin.info/door/Clyi2HUuVSeBJm1150aAcQ

Hello guys! Im planning to buy a guitar on Christmas and I'd appreciate it if you could you help me decide on which I should choose between the Furch Vintage OM and the Yamaha FS5. I mainly play fingerstyle and the price is more or less the same in my country. I really like the look of the Furch but I've only heard good things being said about the FS5. Which one would be a better bang for the buck? Thanks in advance!

On the Furch dreadnoughts, the pick guards always drive me nuts because they’re not installed in the right place , need to be turned in a little bit . I had one and replaced the pick guard and made it look a ton better.

Last I checked, Furch typically don't make affordable guitars. They're more high end than most brands you'd find out there.

It’s just a thin satin finish. Lots of makers do open pore. I have an open pore Guild. Actually feels nice and you don’t have to fuss nearly as much over it. Plus it allows for more movement.
