This run was so good it’s been hard to get faster😢 Is it that you stoped doing the runs? Or is really just this run was so good it is hard to top it? Either way, thank you for making these videos, by watching them I got to be the 9th best player, so these videos will always be memorable for me!

speedrunning eats at a lot of my free time so I just tend to go on breaks here and there.

I used to do something like that, when ever I manged to beat a boss in this game for The first time I take a break for a few mounths And as soon as I get back I beat it with in a few trys, if I dont take that break I just cant win.

I don't know what it's like for other speedrunners, but these recordings are usually the tail end of hours of failed attempts. Like most of the time I've just spent between 10 and 40 minutes resetting just on the first fight, so there'll be palpable frustration there. Doubly so in this case because I knew I was very capable of getting a new PB but I'd spent well over a week choking attempts over and over again. I'm also just not a very expressive or emotive person but you can trust my word that I'm always feeling great after pulling these runs off.

Ive been trying to do a no hit speed run, any tips?

Probably the most important thing is to not rush yourself. You want to get accustomed to each fight and what they do, so you're not jumping in blindly to a counter-attack you didn't expect. Also if you want to be cheeky, dashing off the cliff doesn't count as a hit, and gives you i-frames. Might help against The Song or The Burst

Is there a way to make the chain melee you directly three times in a row at the very beginning? Or is it just luck?

He operates on an internal timer that fluctuates a little bit. If you can manage to interrupt his 3-combo (with a perfect parry or knocking him away on the first hit), that's usually good for a third combo. Truth be told though I reset a lot from him not doing what I want here.

So just as a random question What settings are you using? You have better graphics and more effects than my game produces, and my graphics are set to the best. Is it some console difference? (I play on the PC)

Sorry for the late reply, I tried looking into it to no avail. My settings are basically standard though I run and record the game through my SSD. Not really sure what the issue could be.
