Unfortunately, the actor who played Immortan Joe in "Fury Road" died several years ago. The actor in this movie did a very good job of looking like a younger version of Joe. Also, it is said that during the filming of "Fury Road" the original Joe was very nice to and protective of the actresses who played the "Five Wives". When he passed away all of them attended his funeral to pay their respects to him.

Mad Max was in this movie. He is the one that dragged Furiosa back to the Citadel after she passed out in the dessert

after she got her arm cut off and she's walking through the desert ...that quick 5-10 seconds you see " mad max " eating food on the hill by his car with the dog watching her go towards the citadel

They did a really good job with this movie. Before I saw it, I didn't think it would be. So I had a good surprise. Hemsworth did so awesome as Dementus. I was really impressed and for me he's the star.

Imorten Joe is Colonel Joe Morten - a special forces Colonel and he survived the war with some of his soldiers. They found the citadel and turned it into what it is during this movie. He wears the breathing gear because of radiation poisoning. It's also why his sons are deformed and the war boys are half life.

Anna Taylor Joy has the most expressive eyes (she'd have been amazing in the silent film era). I saw this in IMAX when it was released and it was awesome (I suggest you see it there if you can - it's always so much better). Great reaction guys - and yes that's Max :D

Joy was great in this reaction, noticing everything! I completely agree with everything you said at the end too. Chris Hemsworth was amazing and Dementus was a great villain; charismatic, funny, crazy and evil. I thought this movie was really good! Doesn't need to have Max in it, the dystopic world of Mad Max has enough interesting characters and setting to expand on. It's also so different to Fury Road which was non stop amazing action whereas this was a longer drawn out story, the two opposite make a great pair. George Miller is the same guy to direct the very first Mad Max, he's now 79 years old! It's amazing that he's doing the best action in Hollywood and is so old now. His style is more old school than all the superhero action which is most of what we see now., he has a lot more flair and style. Also, it's funny that when he's not directing absolute violence of Mad Max he wrote 'Babe' (the talking pig movie) and also directed the sequel of 'Babe' and also did the kids animated movies 'Happy Feet' about penguins. From the very first Mad Max in 1979 George Miller's action pieces and stunt work directing has always been top level of skill. When watching the movies it's so creative, violent and practical. Watching the Fury Road is insane knowing most of the stunts were done for real

I also laughed many times😂 with the Dementus character in the theatre, he was so funny but amazing villian as well. Anya Taylor-Joy is my current favorite actress in Hollywood, so nothing can't go wrong with her and loved what she did with Furiosa here again💜 It's Really nice to see you guys again and I'll be watching more of your reactions. Great reaction guys. I can't believe idiots think this is woke. V8 engines, motorbike mania, crazy practical stunts, and just because there exists a vulnerable girl who goes through hell, and loses an arm, this is deemed woke?? I hate girl-boss stupidity, but this is not that. This movie was written before Fury Road and is the proper prequal to that story, filling in the history of what was hinted at in the latter. Furiosa is another masterpiece of cinema that likely will never be repeated due to the stupidity of the sheep-following masses who are rightfully anti-woke but have no clue what that term means and trashed, what truly is, magnificent cinematic artistry.

100% agree with you here! We love her on Fury Road, she is a character that is not trying to be a girl-boss vibe, but just want to do the right thing. Plus, Anya-Taylor Joy played her character so well, as well as Chris Hemsworth. Me and Marian do not consider this a woke film...it will be woke if they make Mad Max a woman i guess lol
