Nice apartment, but the guts of the place are exquisite: the wood floors and pocket doors! Classic and simply classic.

Hi! I just love your apartment and the mix it has between old and new! I love the floor details and the high ceilings. You made smart choices in the way you utilize the space. You are also super-organized and neat, and also very nice and real. I would love to move to a renovated old apartment just like this...:)

This apartment seems huge for New York - I know Brooklyn is a little bigger and more family friendly, but it still seems huge. Very cute, seems like you have quite a bit of stuff but it all fits pretty well.

I too enjoyed the video. You have introduced so many things in your limited space. The apartment is very nice. You sewing machine caught my attention. What model/brand do you have? I loved the towel you embroidered for your kitchen! I live in Miami, Florida and used to do a lot of sewing and embroidery. I now have two bedrooms (11 X 12 FT.) dedicated to all my sewing stuff. They were my two grown daughters' bedrooms but we are empty nesters now. I have SO much stufff I would probably fill your apartment. I also collected cookbooks and my last count was over 120! I no longer cook so they are just taking up space and I know that one of these days I am going to have to give them away . I adore books and have over 300 in total just in history and religion books and a collection of Bibles (about 60). Have a good week and let me know about your machine (I have 10, three of which are sewing/embroidery machines, two Babylocks and one Bernina 730.. The others are two top of the line sergers, a Bernina and a Babylock and regular sewing machines, a Bernina, a Pfaff, and three Singers.

I think you could try to fit a little armchair in the living room (maybe close to the chests and facing the glass pocket door, or by the air conditioner to the right of the tv?) it would "dialogue" with the couch to take away some focus from the tv and add it to the conviviality of the sitting area. Since you like it I'm sure you know Ikea has some good options ;). The apartment is really neat and nice, btw, good job!

Love apartment tours but I'll never understand why people film everything. This is my toaster, this is my cereal, these are my plates. just film the apartment, the bones of it. Not your toaster, etc. A 26.56 video could of easily been cut down to 10 mins.

Originally what was your office designed to be as well as what you use now as the bedroom. Was the office expected to be a small bedroom, was the current bedroom always expected to be a bedroom. The apartment is quite historic, so curious as to the original intent...well done.

I actually have a better way you can do your living room to make it more cozy. Instead o having your sofa right in front of your book shelf. By the way I love your apartment and I would love to go back to New York specifically Brooklyn.

Just came across your vlog. Love the apartment. I have been looking bookcases exactly like the ones in your bedroom. They are sleek and have a lot of shelf space. Do you mind providing details regarding where you purchased them and the name of this bookshelf. Also ,love the one in the living room

+Y Port Hello. I bought it over 8 years ago in a small shop in North London and have lugged it around ever since. Ebay has some similar ones www.ebay.com/bhp/miniature-shopping-cart

one thing I hate about NY is the generic black windows they put into rehabs.Should of put the TV in the niche & the sofa between the 2 windows. The 'cookbook' shelves one can go on the wall in the kitchen with the rolling cart in front of it & one can go on the wall where your table is in 'dining'. The vanity in the bedroom should be place between the 2 small dressers, it would look better,......throw the "sort of human" clothes hamper over by ur mannequin of necklaces .. get a no see thru basket for laundry.......Some tweeks in re arrangement would give you a better visual flow in that apartment.........decent size space. Bathroom is fine with some shelves & color on the wall
