Just interviewed Jorma for the Finnish American Reporter. Such a generous soul and what a fine guitarist and all-around human being. Love this song!

Two things that really hit me while watching this video. First was watching the interplay between the musicians -- they are absolutely paying attention to each other. Just watch their eyes as they pass messages back and forth. This is how great music is created! Second is just watching Jack as he almost dances to the music. He is an absolute monster, a master of the bass!

Absolute musical wizards. Been tripping to these guys since the late 70's and still a hardcore admirer of their boundless talent. To Jack and Jorma: THANKS FOR THE MUSIC, GUYS!

When Jack started up with the first bass line, I got goose bumps! Just think, Jack and Jorma have been friends for what, 70 or 74 or more years now! And other than a couple of breaks, almost 60 years now (or more, with High school bands?? I forget) but damn!!

One of the first things I realized when I saw Jorma in Cambridge, MA in the 80's was how cool sacred music can be. Peace

HT were more traditionalist blues guys. JA had the folk-pop angle embodied by Marty Balin, as well as (controversially, for some) the experimental/avant garde angle embodied by Grace Slick, Paul Kantner, and (to a lesser extent) Spencer Dryden. Absolutely possible to like one more than the other.

the Airplane were great, listen to a couple of whole albums there are many gems that never got the airplay of somebody to love+white rabbitt...some great jorma and jack interplay along with 3 other people besides Jorma who could sing

I've heard this song many times and really enjoy this version! Jack plays extremely well and his bass sounds prominent throughout unlike many other times. I will be listening to this more than once for sure!

these guys just keep it going, they still have that great, gutsy Airplane sound!

Jack is such an underrated bassist. During the Quarantine streams, I really came to appreciate how he holds the framework of a song and embellishes it without getting in the way of the other instruments.

In this world I'm living in I see the light Sins are gone, now I know what is wrong and right Morning came on slowly pushing back the night It's good times now that I can see the light On this road I'm walking on I see my way Paradise I'm living for each and every day 'Bout the crossroads of the past, nothing more to say It's good times now but we can see our way In this sea I'm moving through, feel my life complete With the one I'm living for time is, oh, so sweet Feeling us together, living in the bright It's good times now, we can see the light In this world I'm living in I see the light Sins are gone, now I know what is wrong and right Morning came on slowly pushing back the night It's good times now that we can see the light

I used to live in Athens from '90 to '94. He lived in Shade, I believe he still does. Jorma would play at the dugout. I had friends that he taught. Those were great shows and good times, though I think it was probably a pain in the ass for him. And now an artist myself, at 52, I get it.

Phosphorent Rat it's one of the best albums for me too. Jorma is one of the best guitar player. Lucky you if you can see Hot Tuna or the great Jorma Kaukonen. Cheers SouthernGator. In México it is impossible to see them live. By the way i had all JA and HT Albums. In 1970 when i was "15 year young" i started to buy , listen and collect music. ("Buddy Guy words")
