@@5upreme_K1ng lol, yeah but makes sense though. Stark not only fought more opponents, they were all far stronger than the ones Halibel fought. Add to that the fact that he's more of a 'battle of attrition' type fighter and there's no way he could have won quickly. Which unfortunately gave Shunsui plenty of time to use one of his Shikai's true killing powers. Baragon meanwhile is a one-trick pony, someone who put all his stats into maxing out a single ability, gambling on the idea that no-one would ever be strong enough to pierce through his Respira or find a way to bypass it. Unfortunately for him, he ran into Soi-Fon and Hachi.

Espada number 9 was the only Gillian within the Espada and Yammy was behind him. Gillians are supposed to be the weakest of Menos. That already raised suspicion for me. There was another moment when Ulquiorra told Yammy to store his reiatsu which was wierd at that moment but now it makes sense. Even though Yammy is the strongest in terms of reiatsu, 1-4 Espadas could easily beat him with their abilities, hax, speed, regeneration etc. Strength isn't the only factor that determines who would win in a fight. There were petals behind him in the manga but in certain panels it wasn't shown because of angles. Anime made a mistake.

Spoilers for Black Genie or anyone else that hasn't seen passed where he is in the anime 😂 You could make a case for 1-3 beating Yammy, even though that's extremely questionable, but 4/Ulquiorra for sure isn't able to. Yammy called Segunda Etapa Ulquiorra trash in comparison to him, and his regen wouldn't help if he gets internally damaged. If you think Segunda Ulq is stronger than 1-3 then Yammy would probably beat them too. Starrk and Halibel don't have any hax, and Barragan's decaying aura isn't exactly instant when working on energy attacks, which Yammy spams no issue. Barragan got severely damaged vy Soi Fon's Bankai, so a cero or even a bala from Yammy might just kill him Keep in mind, Yammy called Ulq trash in his normal res form, and Yammy has a second res form, and in general just keeps growing with his anger. And he was fast enough to tag and give Kenpachi but more notably Byakuya a tough fight off screen, with Byakuya being faster than Zommari who has the fastest Sonido

@@silanoo its been stated in the anime, manga, and guidebooks say that 1st Res Yammy is stronger than Segunda Etapa Ulquiorra and all the Espada. Yammy has his second form as well Also, Kenpachi gets stronger during and after every fight. The Kenpachi that fought Yammy would one shot Nnoitra. Also, when Byakuya and Kenpachi returned from fighting Yammy, the other shinigami thought they were on deaths door. Yammy messed them up bad before he went down, and he didn't even die right away

@@silanoo He is. Kenpachi was having a hard time against Nnoitra. Even though Kendo did severe damage, Nnoitra was relative enough to Kenpachi to leave him nearly dead. As we all know, Nnoitra is weaker than Res 1 Ulq who's weaker than Segunda Etapa Ulq Meanwhile, we have Res Yammy being confirmed Stronger than Segunda Etapa Ulq and confirmed as the strongest Espada in the anime, manga, and guidebook, and then getting a second form on top of that form which is even stronger. Granted, Kenpachi and Byakuya were on deaths door by the time they returned from the Yammy fight, but the fact that Kenpachi didn't get one shorted by Yammy when before Nnoitra was able to damage him proves he's maasively stronger now

I think Kubo forgot, for a couple of chapters, that Hitsugaya's Bankai did have a time limit with the flowers, but thankfully he remembered shortly after. Hitsugaya has a lot of potential and he's called a "genius", but his youth and inexperience means that all of his powers still have some maturing to do, putting him lower on the Captain scaling that you'd think.

Fun fact, hitsugaya was actually supposed to die in his battle with the Halibel, but the fan backlash was so bad that the author actually kept him alive. His death was supposed to Mark a maturing point for Momo to make her finally and truly snap out of the delusions she's been telling herself ever since Aizen revolted against the soul society.

People sleep on Hitsugaya OD, even now. Both casual Bleach fans and hardcore niggas. People say Halibel was whooping him and that his W wasn't earned, but people don't pay attention to the context and character moments When Halibel in base was beating up Bankai Hitsugaya, Toshiro was reserving herself and holding back while waiting for her to release. He used the clone to judge her power and speed. Notice how Toshiro in terms of speed was easily able to keep up and outpace Halibel, and how she dodged his physical sword strikes, meaning he could cut through her Res Hierro no problem? And then beyond that, when she was overpowering him in Res, he stated that he was holding back and letting himself get beat up, take damage, and let his petals wind down so that he could use his weather ability for the first time in Bankai mind you, all while nerfed His Reiatsu flared up was able to basically one tap/incapacitate Espada number 3 while he purposefully let himself get weakened. To put that into perspective, look what Res 1 Ulquiorra was doing to Masked Bankai Ichigo, and Res Halibel is stronger than him lmao. Even Starrk, Espada 1 was extremely impressed by his Bankai

Soifon's attitude to Omaeda always annoyed me in this battle. Yeah, he's not the most likable person, but she was seriously counting on him to get grabbed by Barragan and die right there, all for her to *try* and attack him. Geez, I know you're the assassination squad, but with that attitude, you're looking more like the bully squad. If she was fighting alongside Yoruichi, she'd have a totally different tune.

If Soifon were fighting with Yoruichi against Baragon, then she probably would've willfully sacrificed herself like she expected Omaeda to do. Soifon has clearly shown that she cares more about her mission than she cares about herself or her subordinates. She was raised to think that way.

Back when Yoruishi and Kiske were in squad 2, I imagine they operated under the idea of keeping the squad alive so everyone can do their part. Soifon gets the job done by any means necessary. Baragon is stronger than Soifon, she knew that. She also believed that Omeida didn't have a hope in hell of hurting Baragon. In that situation it's not unreasonable to think that sacrificing an ally would be less costly in the long run. I'm not trying to sound like a sociopath, I don't agree with that approach either. But let's not forget that wars have been won by intentionally sacrificing units.
