I have high clearance links on my wagons. However, i found it hangs up more on the driveshaft than the skid. When I looked closer, the link near the axle, because they were highest point there, the shaft hung just that tiny bit lower and is all scratched up. Not only does the skid, chassis need to be smooth, but also the links and keepthing them lower to the ground than the shaft.

I just got that 2s furitek system, it's an amazing deal. You are getting the whole kit for $10 more than the lizard pro! I am looking forward to trying a nano bam at some point. It's doing everything perfect so just gonna enjoy it for now.

Looking good. I think I'm going to pick up those links and the skid plates. I am currently mounting up the Proline Maxxis Trepadors with some brass wheels on mine and they feel like they are gonna be great. I got an SCX24 bumper for it after seeing your last video and it fits great!

@@2fmrc I recall you enjoying the other Proline 1.0 tires so you'll love these as well. I didn't get a huge test but I'm happy with them. With stock foams they are much softer than the big LGRP tires like the Swamp and Trench Kings (may be a problem on very heavy trucks)

Great video as usual! Any idea what % overdrive they're going to come out with? Also, do you know what the total gear ratio of the fx118 axles is? I've got an FCX, and depending on the ratios and the overdrive for the fx118, maybe swapping an axle would be a good way to get more OD than the 15/20t portal gears for the FCX.

I believe automatically let the skid plate should be flat with the bottom of the chassis I would rather lose by lifting the motor and transmission up just a touch then have that skid plate hang down

Treal had some Bad to the Bone knuckle for the FMS axle and ain't that the same axle in that truck if so you can kind of color coordinate also with the aluminum one on the inside and I think they're outer one is like 22 grams on one side

No these are the cr18 axles. Slightly different. Not many options for them yet that I know of.

Hi Matt, Thanks for all the Nice vids! Regarding the noise. is it the Transmission? or the Motor which is the issue? I heard some people saying that using the Furitek Sellar Transmission reduced the noise by 80% less. Have you heard about this? Or simply adding a good grease in the transmission will also make is quieter?

Thanks! This shares the same axles as the cr18p from hobbyplus so those portal covers and stuff work on it.

I put 4ws on my truck and im having the worst problem with slop in the portal axle boxes/knuckles. Nit in the gears but in the actual axle stub shaft that the hex mounts to. Theres slop in all 4 directions and ive got horrible camber. Anyone else have this in their fury wagon? I can literally wiggle my tire in all 4 directions on each hub and im not sure what aort to get to fix it
