On 2014-2018 there is no replaceable flasher relay. If they're not working, it's the fuse or the bulb.

Hey, which fuses are involved with the stereo/radio/headunit?
@CleverFix9 ай бұрын
There is a RADIO fuse on the top left under the hood. The ACC Fuse in the interior fuse box is also important. There's also a ECU-IG fuse that could prevent the stereo from turning on, I think it's No 3, but I'd check all of them just to be sure.

Thank you for the video. If you are interested, I could use a video on accessing the instrument panel junction block assembly for Toyota Corolla (Mine happens to be a 2015).
@CleverFix7 күн бұрын
There's a junction block that's just above the interior fuses. The fuses go into the block actually. I show it in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHLNZGiKgKyEircsi=f9gT-SFUttpcl2LW&t=82 It's not called "instrument panel" block, but it has wires for the instrument cluster going through it.

Awesome concise video✌🏼Do you have listing of the specific fuses needed? I would like to see and enlarged picture of the fuse box panel cover for both inside and outside the 2017 Toyota corolla please😊 BTW That crazy icon photo of me is NOT ME- My grandson set up this method of communication -LOL-
@CleverFix11 ай бұрын
Specific fuses needed for what? It's best to look at your own panel to make sure it's correct, don't rely on Internet.. there are many versions of Corolla with slight differences. Also remember that just because there's a label, that doesn't mean there's a fuse or relay there.. it depends on the model. I'm not sure what you're trying to figure out.. normally the fuses are checked when there's something not working.

@cleverfix I wanted to install an inline sony amp, and connect it to a 15 amp fuse. Youre supposed to use the head units fuse if its 15 amp but could I use the ciggerete lighter fuse instead?

External amps usually come with their own fuse, and they are connected to the battery terminal. See here: www.crutchfield.com/S-HpTehySqRIo/learn/learningcenter/car/amplifier_installation_guide.html

Hi, thanks for your videos. I have a toyota corolla 2015 S and it does have the same fuse box diagram as the one on the video. I noticed my car doesnt have the MGC relay but it is listed in the fuse box cover, I was looking for this relay because I am having some issues with the air conditioner not blowing cold air continiuosly and I wanted to verify the compressor relay. I found out these models come with clutchless compressors and that is the reason why there is no relay. Is that true? Or is it somewhere else?
@CleverFix3 ай бұрын
On the wiring diagram it says the MG Clutch Relay is "Except 2ZR-FE, 2ZR-FBE, 3ZR-FBE". So those engines don't have it. Between 40-50F should be measured at the vent if it's working properly. I think mine was around 45 last time I checked. It cycles on and off and the temperature changes slightly, like 45 to 48 and then back to 45 for example. So it's normal that it turns off for a little bit once a while, but if it's very hot outside, it stays on almost constantly.
@Panaminican3 ай бұрын
@@CleverFix thanks for your response, I really appreciate it. Mine doesnt get that cold, I put it in low which is below 60 and sometimes it is cold but after 2 minutes it starts to get warm. If I turn off the AC button and turn it back on it starts blowing cold air again, it seems like the compressor doesnt stay on or something, perhaps the issue is with the pressure sensor switch? Which sends signal to the compressor? I recently replaced the compressor control valve, it is working a bit better but still does the same. Sorry to write this long explanation but I am trying to see if this is a simple fix before spending on a new compressor. Thanks!

If you need to add an aftermarket amplifier, check the manual for the type and amperage of fuse required, since it depends on the amplifier.

Which fuse controls the TPS in a 2014 Corolla?
@CleverFix5 ай бұрын
I don't see a fuse for the TPS on the diagrams, it seems to be connected directly to the ECM. Without the ECM working, the car will probably not be able to start. If there's a check engine code for the TPS, then the TPS could be faulty, the Actuator Motor that moves the throttle valve could be faulty, the valve could be stuck, there can be a wiring problem, or a ECM problem. So usually there is no fuse to check in this case. If you need the Throttle body tested, the Toyota dealer can do it with the Techstream. They can command the Actuator Motor to move, and see the TPS result at the same time.

Have you figured this out? I'm not sure, and my car doesn't have it, but I can try to look into it and see if I find anything. It could be bunched together with the ECU fuses if it doesn't have a separate one.

Hey man , thanks for your helpful information. I have a 2014 toyota corolla LE but the tail lights, tag lights, and side lights are not working. Yesterday they were working fine and I tried to test the voltage from my multimeter then they went off. I think I dammaged a fuse or something. My question to you : Are they using the same fuse or different ones? In the video, you saw the fuse for the tail and what about the one for fuse ? I'm wodering if I change the 10 A tail fuse will fix the issue ? Thanks

Have you figured it out? Just pull and check the fuse, no need to change it if it's not burned out.

Do I need to remove the negative from the battery first right?
@CleverFix9 ай бұрын
It depends on which fuse. If the fuse has power going to it at all times, even when the car is off, then it's safer to disconnect the battery. That will prevent a small spark from happening when the fuse is being pushed in. So it really depends on the fuse and situation.. also if a lot of fuses are going to be pulled out and checked, then disconnecting the battery is a good idea, just in case a tool, like a metal screwdriver, is dropped which could short circuit the contacts of the fuse to the ground.

where is interior lights fuses or relay of toyota corolla 2017 or 2016 model located?
@CleverFix9 ай бұрын
The Map light and dome lights are protected by the 10A DOME Fuse in the under the hood fuse box. It's just above the "RADIO" fuse, labelled DOME.
@CleverFix9 ай бұрын
The relay is likely built into the Body Control Module, and it's used to turn the lights off automatically after a certain period, to prevent draining the battery.

Where can i find seatbelt fuse ?
@CleverFix Жыл бұрын
It depends which part of the Seatbelt is having the issue. The computer senses the seatbelt connection, and then it displays the warning light on board. There is a separate fuse for the display light, and for the ECU. The fuses to check would be 10A ECU-B, 7.5A Meter and 10A ECU-IG NO2. The Meter and IG-No.2 operate the warning lights, and the ECU-B checks the seatbelt switches.
