FUSE GELNAMEL & SENSATIONAIL GEL: CAN THEY BE USED INTERCHANGEABLY

So many want to know if the Sensationail Gel System can be used with Fuse Gelnamel polishes and vice versa......this video will answer your questions!!

Hi! Your video was very educational. Have you tried using the sensationail top coat on the Fuse? If so, does it make a difference in extending the amount of days without chipping?

I can i say that the fuse actually has a few steps, you have to buff your nails, then put on the clenser/primer then apply the thin layer of polish, then once its out f the lamp you prime it again.

Amanda Gutierrez the fuse system does not require the primer, however, for added longevity, the primer may be used. the fuse gel isn't design to last as long as the sensationail, but, with the primer, it can last as long :)

Lol yeah I have one question when you first used the light did it shock you and send a pain up your arm? Because I bought one a few days ago and it literally hurt so bad that I freaked out and now even though I excanhe it I'm scared to completely put my finger on it

Amanda Gutierrez oh my! no, the lamp should not shock you. now, if you get the polish a little too thick it will give a slight burning sensation. so, make sure you keep the layers thin. if you keep the layers thin, you shouldn't have any problems at all. i've been using these products for over 3 years now and it is completely safe. if you exchanged your lamp, you should be fine :)

Sharon Patterson hi! thanks for watching. the lamp will not dry regular polish, however, you can use sensationail WITH regular polish for a "gel-ly" sandwich to make your regular polish last longer. use sensationail as a base coat, cure, wipe off moisture layer, use regular polish, allow to dry COMPLETELY, then top with sensationail top coat and cure :)

any gel power that requires UV or LED curing should work with the sensationail lamp. it would require 2 minutes of curing instead of 60 sec, but, it should work with gels that require curing :) TFW

Hi, thanks that was really useful. did you try using the sensationail primer underneath first? I know people have said it doesn't last like sensationail so I wondered if anyone had tried buffing then using the primer first , before I get some fuse polishes? X

hi lizzyanne82 , no, I have not yet used it with the primer but a good friend of mine did and she said it worked like a dream. fuse is not made to last as long as sensationail because it is a regular polish meets gel polish fusion. with the primer, my friend got 10 days though :) definitely worth the purchase

Can u use a regular polish and just do a base costs paint ur regular polish let that dry and then do a top coat for more color options ?

hi samantha, yes you can. use the fuse/sensationail as a base coat. cure. wipe off moisture layer. then use your regular polish and allow to dry COMPLETELY. if it is not completely dry, it will bubble up under the gel topcoat. once it is dry, use the fuse/sesationail as a topcoat for a long lasting manicure. wipe off the moisture layer, and you're done :)

Hello ... I just got this product and when is time cure my nails using the lamp it feels uncomfortable (too warm and sometimes a bit of pain) ... Only at the beggining ... Is that normal? Thanks for ur vid!

i have noticed that when i get the product too think, it was burn a little during curing. not sure why the thicker polish causes that, but, if i keep the polish in thin layers, it doesn't burn. hope this helps. :)

Ok I have a few questions for you. I have bought the sensationail kit for about a year now. I have a collection of nail polishes. At first I would get my no chip done at the salon but it became very expensive. So I got my kit and started doing my nails on my own at home. Now recently I had my friend ask me to do her nails with my sensationail kit for a wedding she had to go to. I did her nails and they looked so pretty. Now there is one big concern I have. Through out the night my friend said that the nail polish started peeling off. And all the nail polish came off like stickers. I did the steps as I usually do. I cured her nails for 30sec. Now my question is did they all peel off becaue I was suppose to cure them for 1min. instead? Also this has happened to me before in the past. Another thing can I use other brand nail polishes and use my sensationail lamp and it will still work? I find this highly frustuating because it took me such a long time to do my nails for them to peel off the next day. Am I doing something wrong? Can you please help me so this will not happen to me or anyone else. Any tips that you can give me?

my apologies for not answering sooner. i just now saw this comment. some nail chemistries are different. for my daughter, i have to use primer over her entire nail so they don't peel. it could be that your friend has that same kind of chemisty. i always cure the colors for 1 minutes and if i use a different brand of gel, i cure for 2 minutes just to be on the safe side. hope this helps :)

***** Hello, I was wondering if you could use the Fuse polish for the color step in the sensationail kit? Like primer, base, fuse, topcoat? I routinely use gelish, gelac and sally hansen and get 14+ days of wear but since this isn't marketed as an actual gel polish i'm confused. I like the price point and colors of the fuse line but if I wanted chipping and peeling I'd go back to regular nail polish. Thanks :)

Chelle Me , yes, you sure can. i've done it several times and it works great. and, i will get the full 2 weeks wear instead of just the one week when i use fuse alone. so, go for it and enjoy :)

Thank you soooo much for answering my question. I really love some of the fuse colors and they are at a great price point, plus they're easy to find :) I can get Gelish and Shellac but then I have to travel to the beauty supply for that. I started to get some Fuse colors last night but I was scared it would mess up my gel manis I really like getting a full 2weeks. My nails have never been stronger or longer than they are now that i'm using gel polish consistenly. Thanks again :)

Chelle Me you are very welcome. i love gel!! i use it all the time. even when i use my regular polish, i use gel as a base to build upon. i have so many regular polishes that i don't want to throw them out. so, i combine them with the gel :)

I have the same problem, I have almost 200 bottles of regular polishes (i'm a polish hoarder lol) but I haven't tried using them with my gel yet because I layer up my gel pretty thick to make my nails stronger because they bend and peel easily so i'm afraid if I use reg polish my nails will still be really flexible and break. Do you have success using reg polish in a gel mani? Is it as strong, does it last as long? Thanks again for your help :)

Chelle Me yes, i have great success with it :) i use 2 to 3 coats of basecoat if i'm going through a period where my nails seem flimsy. then i add my favorite regular polish. allow to dry COMPLETELY or it will buckle under the topcoat. after it is dry, i add one or 2 coats of gel topcoat and cure as usual. it will last me the full 2 weeks :)
