Great tutorial. Very helpful to get a clear process flow. I was able to use this process to make beveled gears that are at angles other than 90 Degrees to eachother. Lifesaver! Wish there was more than 480p to see though.

Hey, great video. I'm working on a project for a small motorized turntable. I successfully made a beveled gear for the motor with a 20mm mesh dia., but fusion continually becomes unresponsive and crashes when making the larger complimentary one with a 60mm mesh dia. Do you have any suggestions as to why?

It appears to be due to the complexity is the model and computer / processing power. When I do large complex models (and unfortunately gears are, as they repeat the same model lots of time, or recently I did a mock circuit board with lots of chips on it. This take a lot of processing power for fusion which it struggles with. I run a powerful gaming laptop, 32Gb with the latest processor and graphics card, this handles these kinda things reasonably well, but still struggles in some large models. In one case I’ve split the parts across two files but generally it works OK for me.

@@MichaelBaddeley Thank you, I'm actually trying the gear gut into a quarter, then copy it 4 times then merge the parts, but somehow, my loft cut out the and beveled the center. Oh well, take 10 I guess...
