Modeling is like programming. There are several ways to achieve the same result, some are just more elegant than the others. Lärorikt som vanligt 👍

Would have been helpful to show the tangent edges with the axonometry (the triangular side).

Whoop, I got it… in the end. Except I didn’t use sweep. That’s a neat way of doing it.

I keep forgetting that you can project lines and points as well. Some time back changing a projected line to a construction line broke the projection.

I have noticed that only projecting the end points of a line and then connecting the points with a line in the new sketch can be more reliable.

I would not of thought of doing it that way. Also, I think loft can become a crutch, i.e. depending on it too much. You have an interesting way of thinking about geometries. I see you made a bunch of electronic videos in the beginning, do you plan to make any more ?

I started doing electronic videos being something that I had a bit more then basic knowledge about. And then I got stuck in 3D designing (and 3D printing). There can be some more then I have the time and find something interesting to combine with 3D printing and Fusion.

@@KristianLaholm Same here, learning to be able to add mechanics and motion to my electronic projects. Fusion 360 and 3D printing opens up a lot more things to do with my electronics.

How would you go about making one of the diameters larger than the other diameters? Would you still use the sweep function
@KristianLaholm Жыл бұрын
If you connect 2 different shaped profiles Loft is the most used tool. Depending on design intent sweep and other tools sometimes gives a better and more stable result.
