@@martinoultonjr8779 for a first car I gotta say that's very impressive, I'm not sure how I could have survived if a had a 70 Vette as my first car. There's no way I could have BS'd my parents into a car like that, by the way congratulations on pulling that off. Both the car and yourself are hopefully doing well, what engine is in it? My first car was a 1973 Chevelle SS, I got it in 1985. You hardly ever see them up for sale these days.

In 1978, my grandfather let me drive his 1959 Impala. It was in an empty church parking lot and only for a minute or two, but it was a thrill for a 11 yr old me. That's about the same time I got car fever.

As a teen I enjoyed seeing the different cars on the show. I'm sure it influenced me to own a corvette. In 1982 I bought an 81 with 2000 miles. Still have it today with currently 25000 miles. Have two granddaughters that may be driving it to school someday. Time someone got some joy out of driving a classic.

Loved the cars of Bewitched. I've owned many Chevy Impala's and enjoy seeing the cars of the 60's and 70's today. Those were the days when you could tell one car from another. Loved my 1965 Chevy impala SS, Camaro, and Chevy Caprice.

In the 8 seasons of Bewitched, yes they drove Malibu's, Corvair, Impala, Caprice while Larry drove a Caprice, Impala, & finally Corvettes, but I do love the Reactor Darrin got from Endora!!

One note about the cat in the tree - that was actually the next door neighbor, Miss Parsons. That Reactor car sure got around on TV in the 60s! Star Trek used it as well as Batman when it was dressed up as the Catwoman car! It cracked me up in the committee meeting when all of the older women got into 60s muscle cars instead of more conservative vehicles! Haha!

These were certainly great times to be alive and driving, I was late to the party though obtaining my driver's license around 1983 though. Regardless though I saw a lot of these fantastic cars on the road growing up, I purchased a 71' Challenger as my first driver too, great cars and I've always loved old Mopars.

@irocitZ Don't feel bad as I owned a 73 440,4 speed,Duster,383 Challenger 4 speed,Cuda with a 440 stuffed in it and 4 speed, and a 69 charger in the 80s,and wish I still had all of those plus a few more I had... Just to be able to enjoy them again and not so much for what they're selling for now as I miss those days of cruising around in cool Mopar steel while everyone else was riding bow ties and furds...

@@Wil_Liam1 i like Mopar, I pretty much like everything thats American. back in the 90s you could have almost any average muscle car for 10k or less give or take, obviously LS6 Chevelle, A12 Roadrunner or Shelby would have been more. The fact that a normal run of the mill is 7 or 8 times higher, something is wrong with that. My house didn't go up that much, not even close. I mean, I have a car or two right now, it's not a 60s car. I'm trying to figure out how I can pull that off again without overpaying.

The 67 C2 Corvette is the most desirable GM on the show. It had the big block 427 powering it. Look closely at the hood. Plus growing up in that era I honestly don't remember a 4- door Corvair. I had friends with the 2- door convertible.

I spent a lot more time than I should have, trying to prove it a Ranch Wagon. It is a Police car after all, wouldn't it be the bottom rung? I checked out the 1970 Ford Police vehicles brochure and 'chure enuf there is (was) a Country Sedan cop car. Looked closer at the video and it does appear to say Country on the rear fender, Sedan being broken off. Then I notice it has full wheel covers and decide, it's *not* a cop car at all, just a studio prop! 🥴

Credit for the The Reactor (the first vehicle shown) goes to custom car builder Gene Winfield. The car also appeared in an episode of Star Trek and as Catwoman's Catmobile in the 1960s Batman TV show.

Pretty interesting seeing how Chevrolet was the primary sponsor of the TV series, & having all those other manufactures in the TV show not to . mention the countless ones as back drops that weren't mentioned. I did notice there toward the end in the skyline a American gas station sign. This was one of my favorite TV shows to watch as a child, I still own 3 Chevrolet Corvairs 64,65. & a 67.

A great job, a barbie doll wife, a beautiful house in a dream neighborhood, and of course ever more fantastic domestic cars. Nice little dent on the passenger side 1/4 panel at around 17.25, just behind the door of that blue 70 Impala. Probably wasn't noticeable on non HI-DEF TVs back then, originally people watched this on 20 inch or smaller black and white tube TVs with an antenna to help with reception, that was almost always far from perfect until cable TV like 15 years later.

One scene not shown here was from the Season 6 episode "Santa Comes for a Visit and Stays and Stays:" Larry is driving a yellow 1969 Corvette Stingray C3 with a 427 V-8 (and the 427 callout on the hood is clearly visible)...and in the same episode, Darrin pulls up in a silver 1970 Impala convertible to encounter Larry, Santa and his elves on the front lawn

If I recall. Pontiac Motors sponsored 'Bewitched.' You often would see them driving Pontiac cars on the show. My old hometown. Pontiac, Michigan

I loved how Bewitched had all new Chevs , I did not care for the style of the 67 Impalas and the 70 , the rest were great . It is the first time ,I saw a Rolls Royce with fender skirts .

My mother looked so much like Elizabeth Montgomery that my dad named his boat _"BEWITCHED"_ I have a '68 Firebird 400 that I tell people my mom got me by twinkling her nose.
