They rarely consider or have respect for the manga material. That's why dokkan battle and DB legends still don't have perfected ssjb goku, moro, granolah, or UE vegeta. They never appeared in the anime at all and aren't going to since Daima is toei's next project. They never confirmed the DBS anime would be returning

While expected, it is nice to see them finally. It's been a long time since we could fuse during a fight in a DBZ game. It's a bit confusing, but I believe that Kale form is her SSJ2. Her SSJ form seems to have 1 hair band in the front up. I think the color of the hair knight be a lighting thing because her hair is pretty identical color wise in all super forms

Both Caulifla and Kale are in Super Saiyan 2. Caulifla's hair gets more spiky in SS2, while her SS1 hair is just recolor. Kale's hair actually gets less spiky and slightly longer when she's in SS2 compared to SS1. (SS2 is after she controls the Berserk form for the second time in episode 114). The color is not consistent, in some games it's more green, it others more yellow.

@Globku, the community should know this by now, but the character selection screen spots after every trailer have been random the whole time. They're not the actual confirmed spots for the selection screen, I hope that's become obvious for most of the community. The final confirmed character screen will be revealed once we get the actual main menu gameplay in another trailer later or once Sparking Zero is officially released to the public. If the recent revealed fusion characters are away from the others, then that's when you know it's random on purpose

There's no 'anime only' for DBS. DBS was anime first with the manga being an adaptation until Toyotaro got the permission to do his own thing, which mean both version are 'the true version' so to speak.

I wonder for fusions that do they implement a succeed/fail commands system that if you fail at the fusion, then you would turn into either Fat Gotenks or Veku, and if you get the commands right, then you would turn into Gogeta or Gotenks. Kinda wish we could get Teen Gotenks/Trunks/Goten. I really liked their updated designs in Superhero and was massively disappointed when they only fused into fat Gotenks. Also, had the manga passed the anime by the time of the ToP? Cause the anime came first so why is it suddenly considered not Canon? I realize that the manga continued after the anime stopped but still, it's just confusing

The manga has always been part of the franchise. It gone ahead of the anime because Toei directly stopped it after the TOP while Toyotaro was able to continue writing it due to working alongside Toriyama. Both are part of DBS, they just have their own separate arcs and stories. No one is saying the anime isn't canon

Nope. Manga has also always been part of the franchise. Toriyama directly worked with Toyotaro for it. It being a promotional material for the anime, which is overrated, doesn't change it being an official piece of Dragon ball franchise when it did its own arcs and stories vastly different

I hope they finally added the concept mechanic of it consuming both characters rather then being stand alone. It makes so much more sense that way and would also make the foresight necessary for winning battles way better. Even if it’s like you only get one fusion character per match/one consumable potara per match for let’s say 30-45 seconds. Otherwise, I can see it now and it’s legit gonna be the worst meta ever. TK3 Kid buu levels of frustration, but team wise lol. SSBGogeta, SSBVegito, LSAwakenedBroly, SS4Gogeta and SS3Gotenks. Give or take Beast Gohan, Orange Piccolo as variables lol. Fun but damn is this gonna be crazy. 😂
