Note: This kit has been discontinued and is no longer available. It wasn’t a problem with the quality as that kit is still the bench mark for RS4 superchargers but a result of budget cuts during some of the restricting that occurred at APR.
The Futrell Autowerks Team takes you through the installation of APR's Stage III Supercharger kit and FSI Carbon Clean on a 2007 Audi RS4. Actual installation time with carbon clean was about 25 hours. Carbon build up issue is due to the PCV system in combination with FSI fuel delivery since fuel doesn't wash the valves.

yeah, the APR tune runs a little bit rich at the top end for safety. I've seen stock BMW M5/6 V10 cars do the same thing.

If you pay attention you will see that the supercharger need his intercooler system... And they fixed the intercooler by their own knowledge... Despite Apr is certified as the official tunning team of Audi, The constructor does not always help for those modifications... So good luck

Put down 450 at the wheels post charger. It’s since been removed and the car was sold sans the charger (which went on another local RS4. This video is quite a few years old.

Why do I never see mechanics/techs properly torquing wheel bolts to the correct factory spec. They always just torque the crap out of it with air wrenches, and makes it really difficult to get them off with just a breaker bar

That blue rod that he attached to the impact wrench limits the amount of torque applied to each lugnut by absorbing the extra torque above what they want to apply to each wheel. It's an old school technology, but it's sure faster than pulling out the torque wrench for 20 lugnuts

Top side injectors would help but we’ve had the intakes off on a couple RS3s recently (have top side injectors) and build up was already forming. It’s just the nature of the technology. A 35k service (70K for forced induction) for the fuel economy and performance benefits isn’t a bad compromise.
