We often hear people talking about how their Tiptronic S4 won't be able to handle the power of the JHM B6-B7 S4 Supercharger kit. They believe that the 6HP19 transmission is just too weak. We have been supercharging Tiptronic B6-B7 S4s since 2011 and have not seen ANY transmission failures due to the power output of our Supercharger Kit.

2007 S4 Triptronic, fully loaded, I would like to see more. Looks like a future upgrade for the track but I hope it’s faster... I get low 13’s stock.

Adding a blower to what you have already will definetly make it faster. Idk what your mods are buy i know they run about 7psi on blower so nit too bad.

Do you need to have a air vent or something to help not heat soak the super charger. In novice at this subject sorry. I just feel there's very little room in the engine bay for heat escape. I'm interested on how you guys fix this. Very very cool video!

Vent is not required, customer did that hood for aesthetics!

Call me crazy... But the minimum cost for the supercharged is like what $5900? To 8400 with all the extras.... All that money for .400 of a second?....I dunno man that's crazy money for very little gain not worth it in my opinion.. Unless I'm missing something here was the b6 in 2011 using a supercharger as well?... Either way you guys at jhm do some really great stuff with Audi 4.2's everyone I've spoken with has good things to say about you guys.. Only complaint is price... But I don't blame you guys, allot goes into engineering all the stuff you guys make.. I'm a mechanic..I fix cars... But I would've loved to do what you guys do

I'm sick of my s4🙄 it's a beautiful black convertible but it's not run right once since iv had it,, oil leaks broke air and water lines pipes, now it's running like s..t when it gets hot, the exhaust flexi pipe need to be changed as there leaking, which means dropping the gear box mount so I can fix exhaust. chasing the oil leak I have not yet found, I have replaced rocker cover gaskets, spark plug gaskets, and oil filter housing gaskets witch was not fun! changed most the air vacume line and some water pipes..i still have a oil leak witch I can not find where it's coming from, and now the car runs worst then before. so next is new fule filter and plugs, and hope to get it running with out it misfiring when it gets hot.... I'm starting to hate it. iv only had it 4, weeks. not happy.. going to do my best to fix it and sell it asap..shame I bet new it was a nice car to own. mine is a 05 with 112.000 miles, still looks very very nice. black with black leather on 19" wheels and lowered a bit. it has been a money pit and not nice to own.. I never had a days trouble with my Mercedes v8, had it 2 years, and abbused it every day,

I hav a b7 s4 avant. In 4weeks im dropping off my car at JHM for my catless fast intentions downpipes tiptronic tune, engine tune ported intake manifold & spacers & carbon build up cleaning. Then transflush & oil changes👌 im juiced. But in about 6months ima go for a built block to make it rev up to 8k. Then from there i moght get there blower.

Someone at the shop told me their looking for a S5 auto to verify things. You should call them if your serious and ready to pull the trigger. I love my S5 6spd kit.

The super kit or the TCU tune? I know they needed like 1 more auto S5 to test on before they release it according to Jake, problem is that I dont live in cali anymore. Paying to ship the car there then paying 8k for a kit(unless significantly discounted) isnt feasible for me.

How about an C6 A6 4.2? Is it possible? Some guy independent dealer in the Seattle area has a pretty unique looking car for sale. He says it's supercharged and pushing 500+HP. It seems a little fishy to me, could you guys give any info on trusting these claims. And if it is true, then the car should be a beast.

+JH Motorsports, Inc. (JHM) Not yet. I'm surfing around for one. I live in CA. Love the C6 A6, and I gotta have a V8. The reason for my question is because my dad is on a trip in Washington. He spotted one while over there. He told that me the guy who ran the dealer said it was supercharged with over 500 horsepower. It just seemed a bit fishy at first. But if you say it's possible, then that's awesome and I might take a look into in. Also, what's the limit of power that your supercharger and this version of the 4.2 can handle? If things look promising, I might just buy a stock A6 4.2 and then later have you guys work on it, just a thought. Thanks!

Just because it's possible, doesn't mean that one is. We would need to know who's kit is on it and the other work done to the car. I personally haven't seen a kit for that car that is anything special, so I would be skeptical. The blower we use is capable of 800HP.

That being said, will you guys ever develop a FI kit for the 5.2 V10 in the S6 C6 or S8 D3? I've heard nothing but awesome stuff from you guys, both bolt ons and forced induction. I'm sure you guys would develop something AWESOME for these motors.

We are actually doing a LOT of work with the S6-S8 V10s right now, and a supercharger kit is definitely something that may be coming soon for the V10!! If you could get one of those cars, its worth it. They are pretty awesome!

negative, the S4 uses a timing chain engine while your S6 has a timing belt motor. same displacement but that is about all the two share in common.

Thats because , in America, we put full length headers and do catalytic converter deletes, on everything, including that audi s4 right there.😎🤘
