PFL was not futsal. They wanted to have 4 halves trying to launch their own version of futsal for an American market just like the MLS tried to do with Soccer in the 90s. It didn't work for them and the PFL wouldn't have worked been successful with that either. And they would have had to go back to the original format.

@FutsalNewsYT MASL should convert to Futsal end off. They need to evolve with the times. I read a great Futsal Focus article about it a while ago. I agree 100% indoor needs to adapt or be left behind. Futsal Focus also spoke to American Hall of Famers who said MASL should adapt also. They should listen to the advice given.

@FutsalNewsYT Futsal Focus said they should be called MAFL and imagine if MASL franchises moved away from agreements with NHL clubs and moved to agreement with NBA G League teams which play in smaller arenas than NBA clubs.
