An arrangement and a sound that stands the test of time here in 2024. Disney didn't fully understand the kind of talent they had with these guys. Just a fantastic drum corps.

I played mallets in the '81 and '82 Blue Devils that originated this arrangement. It's amazing to hear how closely they followed the brass and percussion arrangements.

It's a VHS recording of an 8mm recording, which is why it's a poor quality. I still have the originals at home I need to upload again.

Though Future Corps is gone, Disney now has the "College All-star Band" performing at times. Many of the players are current DCI players or recent alumni, but sadly it's gone from a corps-specific layout to a true marching band layout with woodwinds. The total player numbers are equal so they simply can't compete in sound level The "College" distinction also means that they are unlikely to have late 20's-early 30's corps age-outs with the FC level of playing skills.
