FWWR #2248 Steam Loco. The Tarantula Train arriving to load and unload Passengers at the 8th avenue Station. When it was so much fun to ride. Before it sold to city of Grapevine. They took the fun out of the ride. Most people don't return for another ride! they need to hire friendlier staff.

I have seen the tender of Southern Pacific 2248 back in July 5th 2020. I hope to see Southern Pacific 2248 when it’s back in service again.

Would be thrilled if grapevine vintage purchased a larger steam locomotive since if more coaches would be used the better

They have a larger steam loco in Grapevine. However I don't know If they plan to rebuild it to run it or just display it!

What they should’ve did was deliver it to greenfield village and it would’ve been rebuilt and running again in 3 years

I'm not sure what is going on I have heard many different stories. I have a video from Jan. and Feb. 1996. It was rebuilt in about a year! Maybe this time it's a parts issue. 🚂??
