I love all air guns from a Daisy Red-Riders to the Delta Wolf. Simply put...I LOVE the shooting sports period. Anything that throws a projectile....I’m in love! That said...with the advent of the FX M3...shut the front door! What Freddy has done a FX is nothing short of spectacular to be frank! The Delta Wolf was gladly not called the Alpha Wolf. The M3 will BE the Alpha Wolf. This rifle in and of its self is so versatile it will take months if not years to catch up to its flexibility to be fair. Lots of pellets and air will be sent down these barrels before a ton of recorded data will put it all together with loads of different pellets and or slugs. What we are stepping into in the airgun world my friend is nothing short of amazing and phenomenal! All I can say my friend is buy once cry once. Do you all’s due diligence and get it over with. Find what you want and be done, because they’re all in capital letters... all amazing to be frank. Get a platform to get what you want, the does everything that you want, then won’t cry that’s all I Gotta say about the subject. What an amazing time time to be into PCPs!💯🤷‍♂️ Truthful brother...I/we expect nothing but excellence from these rifles for their cost to be frank. God bless and stay safe.

The FX rifles look cracking rifles but the only thing that keeps my money in my pocket are those magazines. If they were like the weihrauch’s a simple loading disc which can be loaded quickly and simply even in the dark without fumbling around removing parts especially for those who may suffer with dexterity problems like myself I’d be more than willing to unload some cash on one. In the meantime I’ll be sticking with my weihrauch HW 110 and 100s.

Another good honest review, & what a rifle. About time FX made the Crown a bit shorter. One thing that gets me though, .177 doing 28fpe??? Is that with slugs? as I don't know of a pellet that'll be stable at that sort of power.
@alphamilitaria2756
@alphamilitaria2756 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much. 28 ft/lbs does seem excessive I know, and you're right, you'd want to find some heavy pellets to handle that power, although you can dial things down of course. Full details here: fxairguns.com/rifles/the-crown/
@stevennewham5273
@stevennewham5273 3 жыл бұрын
@@alphamilitaria2756 If you "have to" dial things down to make the .177 pellet stable & accurate, what's the point of all that power? Unless it's to accommodate the fact that it has interchangeable barrels, & the larger calibre's will take it.

Hi Todd. Thanks for watching. When possible we try and include a £RRP and also tell people if its worth shopping around for a better price. Most manufacturers do not sell direct to end user customers but sell through distributors and gun shops instead. As a result, it makes it very difficult/unfair to provide links to one gun shop in particular when so many others will sell the same rifle, potentially at a cheaper price. I hope that helps explain why we don't always provide a price/place to purchase.

@alphamilitaria2756
@alphamilitaria2756 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much. In truth, both are amazing rifles and will put pellets on top of each other all day long. The only real difference is the styling and the fact that the Dreamline in laminate rifle format has an air cylinder rather than bottle so less shots. That said, the beauty of the Dreamline is that you can change configuration of course and turn it into just about any gun you want from a bullpup to traditional sporter. If you can, get into a gun shop and see both in the flesh. One will appeal to you more than the other. There is no wrong decision though - both are great rifles. Good luck!

Oh my God Richard, that is a 😊😍 gun that speaks to me! Not had an FX gun but do have a Theoben which I think was a UK / Swedish collaboration? That stock looks fantastic for a synthetic, like my HW100 Bullpup. The accuracy is phenomenal, is the bottle aluminium with a carbon wrap or fully carbon? A gun that is sure to put the cat amongst the pigeons between Daystate and Brocock! I like the Picatinny rail system too, another + for me 😊

Hi Baz. Thanks for watching. I don't believe there is a Swedish connection in the Theoben history, but more than happy to be corrected. There was a tie up with Wiehrauch. You're right, the stock is lovely, very tactile. And I'm pretty sure the bottle will be carbon wrapped aluminium.

Hi Richard, can you please do a video on the various settings on the ajustments. I have an FAC Crown, .22 with a 700mm barrel. I have found the FX instructions very poor. I have no idea what the letters mean on the adjustable wheel and because there is no set mark or arrow l have no clue when the gun is set. I been have ordered some Airarms pellets, can you you please recommend any budget pellets to practice with at 20 meters, in the backyard? I don't think my gun likes Bisley Mag. I have also got some sample pellets from i Hunter. Some of these produced terrible results, their Headshot pellets had limited success. I was starting to get a good group and then ran out of pellets. I think she likes JSB diabolos, but they are very expensive for backyard shooting. I also saw JSB have a slug type pellet. These are actually cheaper than their diabolos, have you tried the JSB slugs out? I keep going back to your channel time and time again.
@alphamilitaria2756
@alphamilitaria2756 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. We'll add it to the list! In the meantime, have you joined the FX owners club Facebook page? Its a great resource to ask questions about FX rifles, settings etc. With regards to pellets, my advice is to find a brand that works for your rifle and stick with them - Air Arms Diabolo Field and JSB Exact usually work well in most rifles. Unfortunately, like everything else, the price is going up. Cheap pellets are usually cheap for a reason. That's fine if you are happy to compromise on accuracy in the back garden but don't expect the same level of accuracy as you'd get from quality pellets. JSB make some fine slugs and they work well in high powered rifles. But like pellets, you'd probably have to try a few different brands, weights and sizes to find one that works best for your rifle. They are not usually cheaper than pellets either (most packs of slugs contain100 slugs so don't don't be fooled of thinking they are cheaper). One final thing - if you're shooting an FAC rifle in your garden make sure you have a properly safe backstop. You are legally obliged to ensure pellets stay within your boundary. Don't forget, with the FAC air rifle you are shooting a section one firearm. You also need to check the conditions of your FAC to ensure you are allowed to shoot an FAC rifle anywhere other than the locations that were part of your application. Even if you have an open ticket, I'd suggest that shooting an FAC in a rifle is not a good idea (unless you have a truly enormous, and I mean several fields garden). Gardens are meant for 12 ft lbs max, and often less.

HI Richard, thank you, I am one of the Lucky people who live in the Country in an old Late Victorian manse (Rectory). Our garden is like a field which sounds great until you have to cut it. Thanks for watching. I used Air Arms Diabolo Field pellets in 5.52mm and they worked nicely, but seem to do well in most rifles. The Crown isn't pellet fussy so I think you'll find that most decent brands will work with it. Enjoy the GRS!

@alphamilitaria2756
@alphamilitaria2756 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. I can't say that I'm aware of any gizmo that slows the air intake. Have you changed air bottle? Some of my bottles fill slower than others. And to be honest, filling slower rather than quicker is not necessarily a bad thing as it will prevent the air heating up and then cooling and leaving you with less than fill. It should still only take 30 second or so. If its taking ages to fill and you don't think its right, best drop it back in to where you bought it from and ask them to try filling it up. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
