FX Impact M3 Pest Control || .22 Calibre AirGun Hunting || Pigeon and Indian Myna Bird Shooting

I'm out on this shoot running my FX Impact M3 in .22 calibre for some BULK pest control shooting. This is a professional pest control cull for a pest bird problem (all are invasive, wild animals in Australia). There is bulk air rifle hunting and shooting action in this video, all after dark with thermal and night vision equipment.
Running a modern PCP air rifle with thermal and night vision equipment is a very effective and discreet method in the right hands. Perfect tool for working within these sheet iron machinery and hay sheds.
My FX Impact M3 is shooting on song in .22 calibre firing 15.89gr JSB Hades pellets at 650fps. Scope is a PARD DS3570 RF with an onboard LRF with ballistic hold over capability and I'm using a UK made Sirius Reach external laser IR torch. Thermal hand scanner duties is the new Pulsar Telos LRF XP50.
For those interested my FX Impact M3 is running a Huma-Air high flow slug & pellet probe but no other power upgrades. It has a standard 600mm barrel with superior liner (not heavy). Few Sabre Tactical upgrades in the mix to the rifle body like the Arca Rail 2, TRS & bag rider. Air supply is by a ShootAir light weight composite tank to refill the rifle bottle as required.
Tripod used is a ViperTek CT3, currently under review from Hermann's Sporting Guns Australia. Watch this space for an upcoming video.
No I'm not eating the birds shot, filthy things and I wear gloves to handle them.

They’re commonly referred to as “trash pandas”. Of course they’re very destructive when out of their native habitat, like getting into people’s homes, etc.

Hay mate, love what you do. I'm a disables Army vet, served 23 yrs. You would get lots of requests to go shooting I'm sure. I used to shoot Ferrels for yrs and yrs every chance i got. But I've been out for over 15 yrs now and am unable to find a property to shoot on. If by chance you could have me along for a shoot some time, that would be gr8. I love pigeons, have one as a pet. They don't really displace and harrass natives like mynas do. There is certainly a big enough population to support a few shots though! Love your work on the cats, your aim is incredible!

That was awesome Nathan if the haters spent a bit of time on a farm they'd get a better idea of what farmers and farm workers have to put up with everything covered with bird crap plus the disease factor as well wild birds and pet birds can and do carry a very nasty potentially fatal disease called PSITTACOSIS. (Chlamydia psittaci ) I would urge people to look it up I know how bad it is because I've had it and it is not nice .And those rats with wings are a known carrier. Keep up the good work mate.

Those fx air guns are an awesome bit of gear,a little out of my price range affordability but it’s good to see them being demonstrated. The technology has come so far with high powered air rifles it’s unbelievable,and with the ongoing shortages of reloading supplies ( particularly large rifle primers ) and the outrageous prices of factory ammunition,gun powder and brass these are becoming a good option. The pellets are pretty cheap and come in a good variety of calibres.
