What do you do when it’s windy and you need to shoot some video? You grab a gun like the FX Impact MK III .35. At over 90-foot pounds shooting 81.02 grain JSB Pellets at 53 yards, the wind simply doesn’t matter. Today’s video was about testing power differences using just the hammer adjuster. The results were “interesting” so make sure you watch the video! In our next video with the FX Impact MK III .357 we’ll do some work with the reg and see if we can get her to shoot some slugs!

1st reg 190 2nd reg 160 ….hammer wheel maxed out at 16 ….and then u have to do fine tuning by adjusting micro adjuster and valve adjouster ….u will reach 960 fps easily

The .35 is pretty hold sensitive. Shoots pellets great at 850fps. Shoots Hybid slugs great at 1000 with the slug liner

Have you shot any slugs heavier than the hybrids? Trying to find info and not having much luck.

You have to increase your Reg Pressure, you have to increase your valve adjuster. You can fine tune with your macro wheel. All of the adjustments on the rifle all work in harmony. I am getting 162 FPE with the NSA 93 Grain slugs you need to have Reg# 1 at a minimum of 50 Bar higher than Reg# 2. You aren’t going to get higher speeds without increasing the regulator pressure. I get 148 FPE with the FX 68 grain hybrids.

Nice presentation. Is there the standard or heavy liner installed? I had no good accuracy with Pellets at speed of 250-260m/s. The FX Hybrids are very accurate at around 290 m/s @100m.

Do you loose air pressure whenever you fire a pellet? This will need to accounted for if looking for consistent groups and to adjust point-of-aim

Yes you loose pressure. But that is handled by the regulators and the plenum. The point of the large power plenum and the regs is to deliver the same volume and pressure shot after shot provided the main tank has more pressure than the reg. Cheers AGW

My man acting like there isn't videos on the impact 35cal how to tune it, fx has a site you can go on and it has the settings so you can tune your gun to get power, rick been doing this for 2 long not to know 😅

too painfull for me to watch all the way through- get the reg on 170 - tungsten hammer, slug probe, huma transfer port and slug liner and try again!!!
