Man, this hits hard. It reminds me of the time I stood up for the gay kid at my high school. Someone threw one of those metal bi-fold construction signs at him when he was eating lunch and I just saw red and speared this kid and fucked him up. You don't treat people like that, especially when their only "crime" is existing. That makes you tiny. I'm still really good friends with that kid 20 years later. One of the best people I know.

Same thing in traditional striking gyms/martial arts clubs (atleast where I trained) most of the guys with wins and championships will test you. Try to low kick you and make you sit down or test how "hard" youre by making you do conditioning tuened up to 100. But after a couple of months you're part of the team. And the few survivors tend to become absolute butchers. And very humble.
