The Maverick is the best entry into high end airguns on account of it's ease of use, ease of tuning, and low maintenance. I have had all my buddies buy them and every Saturday when everyone is over it's like a Maverick party! 🥳🥳🥳 Still probably my favorite FX platform, though the Panthera is right up there!

Can you put the longer tank on a short barrel?

Yes that is possible but you might run into a problem if you want to mount a moderator . Choose one that has the same diameter as the shroud .

When can the hammer be adjusted? When leveler is back or cocked? Seem to recall it should be adjusted after being shot.

Had a Maverick for 6 months it's a tack driver with a 700mm barrel just switched out a 500 mm going to see what I can do with it.

I've got a maverick sniper, and it's a beast! However, the cocking system could be improved, and the magazine as well.

Bought a used Maverick from my local RFD. It is the most inaccurate rifle I’ve ever used. I can’t zero it as it does not group. When I bought it I was told it had a carbon fibre barrel stiffener fitted. I can only assume it was not done very well. The rifle has been returned.
