Yooo this is an amazing video!!! Thank you for this, never seen those grips before or that gold wiring. Definitely got me thinking about copping some of these things for my bike, especially the foot pegs & grips. Again, solid video! Looking forward to your future content!!!!

Nice looking bike...it always amazes me how much we have to spend getting into the perfect riding position. I have a Road glide and have put a bunch into the perfect position of form and function and comfort.

Art Solo well do I get some credit for trading in my 2014 Suzuki M109r. Pretty sure I'm gonna end up with a streetglide with whatever high output option s or cvo Harley has. I was a Japanese only literally born in Japan 🇯🇵 Fukuoka city traded in my turbo Supra now have GTO 6.0 6spd and Suzuki for Harley Even one of my Sportbikes is a Buell XB9r Firebolt!!! Nothing in the world like a canned out American V8 or a 45degree pushrod Vtwin it just speaks to your soul. God Bless you and America
@artsolo53897 жыл бұрын
Paulk Master get a Harley (Dyna or bigger) and I'd be really happy. I respect everyone who rides anything, but to me personally, Harleys are badass and they definitely hold their value.

Art Solo Yes they do...Thanks for replying back and I'll keep watching them if you keep making them.

I really like your Saddlemen seat. I have an older custom Saddlemen from 2013, but I think I'm going to order the one you've got. Also, I've been looking at the Two Brothers exhaust for over a year now. Besides great performance, it's a nice looking pipe. I like all the choices you've made so far for your upgrades. I've got a 2014 Street Bob with a 103. I really like the new Lowrider S and I'm trying to justify trading in my bike to get one.
@artsolo53897 жыл бұрын
David Yergensen so I was in a similar situation as you, except I had the FXDL and not the Street Bob. I pulled the trigger on the Lowrider S because it would cost more to black out my FXDL than to just upgrade to the FXDLS. You get a lot for the 3k price jump. First, a NEW bike. Plus you get a 110, upgraded suspension, cruiser control, ABS, security system, air cleaner, quarter fairing, etc. But the biggest reason is the 110 and the dual disk brakes and mag wheels. Just make sure to take all your goodies from you Street Bob if you get the FXDLS. I hope you do it! And TBR is great and Saddleman customer service is the best.

Hi! have a fxdls too so I want to put a bubba clamp 8" (Big als cycle), Can I do it with the OEM cables? Thanks man, awsome upgrades!
@artsolo53897 жыл бұрын
I dont think so. Your 8inches used for risers is all the space you have on the OEM cables, leaving no room for the bars. I have 6 inch risers and 2 inch bard and its a tight fit with OEM.
@elcid45937 жыл бұрын
Did you dyno the bike after the pipes? What was the increase in tq and hp? Did you feel the difference? Thanks debating on those pipes or thunder headers and how are those foot pegs as far as leaning,scraping because I scrape the shit out of my stock ones
@artsolo53897 жыл бұрын
Jerome amato Thunderheaders are cool I just prefer shorter pipes. As to the dyno, not yet. I got a $450 tuner plus $300 for the actual dyno on my last bike and gained next to nothing. But I will get a tuner and dyno soon and I'll let you know!

The skinny front tire sucks my last bike was a fatbob and i loved the way it held a straight line the local HD dealer said it would over $3000. To change to a wider front tire, it's all about handling so i did some research and i can put a fatbob wheel, rotors and triple trees and front fender for less than $800.

Hello Art . Thanks for your time and effort on making fxdls videos! Nicely done and very informative! I have one question for you! Have you taken your girlfriend on long rides ? And if so , how does she feel about the passenger's portion of the sadlemen step up seat? (.....I'm about to get a fxdls myself but most my riding will be with a passenger , and I'm afraid that a " step Up " won't be as good for her ?! Although I really like that seat , I think that Corbin's "widow maker " or La Pera's " maverick " would be more suitable for a passenger on the day long rides.) If you could get back to me on that I would appreciate !

Did you have to install a tail light relocation kit and license plate relocations kit? Does it make the tail lights look weird now? Is it detachable?
@artsolo53897 жыл бұрын
turn signal and license plate relocation required. There never was a tailight, thats built in to the turn signals. And no, it doesnt make anything look weird. Mostly its the license plate relocation that some people dislike, but to me I didnt like the side mount anyway..
@thelowriders77507 жыл бұрын
hey art, first off cool video was definitely helpful. I recently purchased this same bike my only issue is the comfort on long rides. my hips start to cramp up after and hour or two of riding. so i was was wondering how tall you are so i can gauge how i would sit on the bike with the upgrade to the bars and risers. i was thinking maybe to throw on forward controls but if i could get away with puting a new seat and risers i would rather do that. Thanks! Ride safe!
@artsolo53897 жыл бұрын
Blazin_up_420 I am 5 foot 7. I just rode from san jose to Las Vegas and back, about 1200 miles, 19 hours. If your legs are long enough forward controls would help for long rides
