FZ1 Dyno Run - How much horse power can it make.

Hello, good video, I have had my 07 fz1 since new, I have left it stock, run pilot 5 michelin's, and ride it to my best ability, I believe Yamaha knows more about motorcycles than me, so, I don't think I can really improve it, it gives a lot of other bikes a whooping, or a scare, and that satisfies me.

With my 2009 Fazer I went up above 280km/h in Germany, but I can't do that much because it's a 200km drive to the nearest Autobahn, I live in Belgium.

How fast are they? Not as fast as my old K6 Gixxer thou but they are plenty fast enough for a naked bike. Good luck with your tuning.

nadrepadre nadrepadre. I've owned both and currently have a modified FZ1N. The stock K6 Gixxer thou has 160HP compared to 130HP, it's lighter and has fairings. It's not even close. I have a full Arrow system, flashed ECU and a modded airbox and can only get 145HP out of my FZ1N. Horses for courses though, I love my FZ1N. It's a great bike.

My tuned up -09 FZ1-S makes 147hp/102Nm from the rear wheel and produces a massive amount of torque in the low end. A really enjoyable bike to ride with the low end power and the horsepower curve is almost linear. I think it might get over 150hp if the engine revved just a bit higher, right now the rev limit is the hp peak.

That’s at the engine. Most stock ones end up around 125 on the Dyno. I must get mine done again one day as it should make a little more now.

Yeah thought it was the same as the GSX-S1000F which is 144whp or 160hp But every dyno reads different. This might not be corrected numbers

Damien Wood Modded FZ1 puts out nearly as much top end Hp as stock superduke..
