I picked up my first fz8 in June and I love every bit of it. At first it felt really fast but after a few weeks in the saddle you get used to it.

Rapid acceleration, can you brake and turn such a momentum if a car pulls in front of you, or is on their phone etc? Will you have restraint, skill etc? In Europe we are restricted for 2 years to reduced power.

Before I even got my license, I got a 2012 FZ8, used but greatly looked after. Really a blast, does fast but is not overly so, handleable, compact, a real fun bike to ride as my firstie.

Bought my 2011 FZ8 brand new in 2010. It was first street bike. It’s completely stock. Such a fun bike to ride. Great for riding around town and a blast on the twisties. Never plan on parting with it.

Have a 2011 FZ8 i brought alittle over 4 years ago from the original owner. only had 7200 miles on it. Was my first bike and absolutely love it.

My first street bike I rode off road and had a dual sport for 18months before getting the 2013 version of this bike and loved every second although it had weird radiator problem where it would start to overhear in traffic… guy I sold it to said he sorted it with a flush and hose change

Gotta love the fz8, grew up riding dirt bikes and got a DRZ 400 super moto as a first road bike then bought a fz8 off my dad and have been riding that ever since, very nimble and has very good control at high speeds. Been happy with the bike from day one

I just bought a 2013 FZ8 for 6500 10k miles on it i really love the bike its exactly how you explained it its perfect for both worlds nice cruzer and fast when you want it. Idk why they stopped making the FZ8. Also I never see them on the road are they kinda rare ?

The windscreen is great. Instead of wind hitting you in the stomach it will hit you in the chest and can tuck behind it pretty good.

@@Jake_203 yes mate must admit the power was a grin factor but being a little older now the sit up style of the Fazer is easy isn’t it… turns on a 5 pence and still a bit of power , enough to kill yourself still 😎. The Fazer thousand was good too

I wouldn't want recommend you the fz8 to a new or novice rider. Not because of the power or performance of it but because bikes like this are far less forgiving than a mt03 mt07 r3 etc, which are designed to be easier to ride so you can get the experience required to get something like a fz8 mt09 mt10 etc as your next bike.. don't rush it by going for a bike that will teach you the hard way when you can get a lot better as a rider on a more suitable bike

Nice demonstration!! I was really debating between this and the 919 Honda. I ended up with a 919 just because of the classic style but i almost went for the fz8. Good sound and good all rounder! How is the reliability and maintenance on Fz8

If your looking for speed get a 1000. Comfortable wheelie happy and quick is the fz8. Go watch my hooning fz8 video. That will help you on your decision.
