Hi, thanks for your comment, Gawler from memory, it's always good to see our common rail heritage running, I haven't made it to Pichi Richi yet but hope to, just to see one of the four of our WAGR W's they have.. cheers Drew

Real shame I wasn't there to see her running as that is any steam enthusiasts dream to see a standard gauge steam engine running

Hi Will, I missed G233 in August, but managed to get there for the last steam this year. A while till the next steam which I guess will be April/ May 2022 depending on fire bans. Who knows by next year there may be some progress in getting a permanent Heritage line from Boyanup on whats left of the existing track to Busselton, RHWA is hoping it will be 23kms. ...Drew

Nice video, would you have any idea what the railcars behind the blue diesel loco are at 1:51?

Hi, thanks for watching and your kind comment, I think it's likely to be an ADG (ADX) suburban 2 car DMU, they were finally replaced in 1992 when the metro system was electrified, on researching my answer to your question I found that 2 units were 'preserved' one by Rail Heritage (that would explain it being at Boyanup), and the other by Hotham Valley Railway (Dwellingup/ Pinjarra), who interestingly also have a preserved 'G' Class the Koombana Queen, sadly none of these as far as I know are operational or under restoration ....Drew

@@DrewsRailwayWorld Thanks for the info, it's a shame that a railcar that ran close to 40 years would be forgotten about, but hopefully in the future, we will once again enjoy these beasts running again, or at least see a fully restored static display.
