"Do you regret turning yourself in?" G-Dep's answer could have been, "Yes." Instead, he says everything in prison AFFIRMED that he'd made the right decision, even reconnecting with folks he was estranged from. This stands among the rare prison redemption stories. I swear you could write a book about every sentence this man speaks. Really brother, G-Dep I am rooting for you!

I remember seeing the documentary about him turning himself in and the case itself. The police even said this case would've gone unsolved because of so little info they had. The man who lost his life, his own family, was in complete shock that G Dep turned himself in. They had almost come to terms with their loved ones' loss of life would never be resolved. G Deps' true upbringing and faith is a testament to what accountability truly is! I hope and pray for nothing but peace and blessings for his future. The gentleman that lost his life, forgive me for not knowing your name, but may your soul rest in eternal peace.

G Deep doesn’t realize how much he is helping people being this transparent. Every actions has a result. You do good, good comes back. You do bad, bad will come back. A lot of people are numbing and running from their demons. You are either going to pay for your deeds in the front end or the back end. Some people do wrong and try to ignore and run from it but it haunts them. With age and maturity everything starts to settle in and some folks cannot sleep at night. Even with his success he couldn’t run from it. I have another level of respect for bro owning up and paying his debt to society. I pray he’s in a better place and GOD continues to guide his path. Hope he has found mental peace. 🙏🏾

@@bigstone1293Surat Al-An’am 6:43 Blaming others for our misfortune is merely a way to avoid personal responsibility and is Satan’s tool for obscuring the true solution. Rather, Allah will only improve our situation when we turn inward, critically examine ourselves, and purify our hearts and communities from spiritual diseases. Allah said: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ Verily, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. Surat Ar-Ra’d 13:11 There is much to lament for the situation of Muslims in many parts of the world, but blaming external factors is a dangerous distraction. Focusing too much on worldly causes while ignoring spiritual causes will prevent us from seeing the truth. The only way we can lift ourselves out of hardship is to lower ourselves before Allah, to repent to Him with humility and sincerity, to acknowledge our sins, and to improve our inward and outward moral behavior. Success comes from Allah, and Allah knows best.

G-Dep is from my hood- even though he did this heinous crime.. he still turned himself in- G-Dep has the characteristics of a Noble man. I wish him nothing but the Best! (Random thought) - I wish ppl that truly speak about THE LORD, can get some air time like this 😊..just saying 😊

G-Dep had some good music and a good rapper. The guilt and drugs got the best of him years ago. Seems like a changed man salute to him for being a man by owning up to his mistakes 🙏.

Been following G Dep from his feature on Gang Starrs The Mall. Bummed out when he went away, but so glad he’s back outside. Hopefully he can get his career popping again. He was always one of the best on Bad Boy.
