Nice bike there. To avoid stressing your knee stay away from the higher gears and try to be pedalling at around 80rpm at least, 90 is best. Also the right saddle height is critical for knee stress, so that bike might contribute if it's too low. Wish it was 90degrees it's like 57 here in Blighty 🥶

@@ZophieReviews ALWAYS ride with your seat to peddle distance based on your actual inseam and not just what feels comfortable, there is math to this and keeping your legs in optimal position is highly recommended to avoid injuries!

Another great bike review. That bike looks like it has a really comfortable ride with all the shocks, fat tires and large seat. You have a nice riding area, loved the stringy things from the trees. You were a cheer leader? That's pretty great :-)

Thank you! I did get lucky with that bike trail. Didn't even know about it until a year after I moved here. I was a cheerleader in high school, it was a great way to avoid band events. Playing clarinet in freezing temperatures was just stupid, it's a wind instrument that needs warm air and my warm air would run out. Also, you can't wear gloves with that thing, it needs your fingers. My parents wanted me to be in band and the band required we attended the schools outdoor and indoor sports games, however if you're a cheerleader that took precedence over band stuff.

Hey Zophie, there are a few problems with these types of bikes! The first one is that you can't straighten your legs entirely, which is bad, really really bad because your knees experience pressure in a way they are not designed for (and mechanically inefficient), especially since you already have a knee problem (a bike fitter for example from the company SQlab or doctor for sports medicine can tell you a thing or two about that), the second reason the legality ( or lack legality) in a lot of countries (especially in Europe) and the third reason is the saddle, you mentioned that the saddle is soft which is actually really bad because it puts pressure on the area where a lot of nerves and blood vessels run through (Perineum = the area between genitals and anus). You did not mention the real-world range (the advertised range is widely overestimated in most cases), especially for heavier riders like me (90kg with backpack), most people are not as light as a feather like you. On a side note; hub-driven Bikes are less efficient (especially uphill) than middle motorbikes, which makes me wonder why hub-driven motors are still so popular. Would you mind testing the ShockWiz Device on some bikes to improve the suspension? (only works on air suspension) Cheers
