Descriptions of the desert in Jewish sources are repeated several times.
In the desert the Torah was given, in the desert leaders like David and Moses were formed
and in the desert Moses wandered with the people of Israel for forty years until they went into the promised Land.
For Spirituals figures,, prophets, people who practice faith and religion the desert has a great significance.
Moses, Muhammad, seekers of existential answers, the birth of Judaism, Mount Sinai story, the birth of Islam are all related to the desert.
Desert represents introspection and self-explore. It's a place with no distractions.
Apparently great people who bring a message to humanity must isolate themselves, purify their mind in order to be able to bring clear and truth messages to humanity.
The desert is a symbol of power and heroism, as well as a place of hiding and solitude.

I find this song truly comforting. I really appreciate the Hebrew language songs. Very enchanting. The songs about King David and the Psalms are wonderful. The non-religious songs are really great because there aren't alot of songs in Hebrew as far as I know of. Talya's voice is wonderful and it's great to see the subtitles in both English and Hebrew.
