Here's my theory: Soojin: The main demon in the song. Also, in the video Soojin holds a white apple , that symbolizes the Adam's apple as a temptation. She tries to tempt everyone in darkness using lust. Lust also one of the Dante's nine circles of hell,in circle number two, where there are strong winds. In the video, there are red objects that are floating around her, and might have blown by the strong winds around Soojin. And she was inlove with Shuhua, who is a pure deity. Minnie: Represents self-murder. She was slowly corrupted by darkness. Then she was dragged into the white room, which is the purgatory, where Soyeon is also situated. She tries to fight darkness to overcome her, that's why her nose bleeds. Until she can't take it anymore and kills herself, as you can see in her part in the second chorus where she shots herself with a gun. And according to Dante's 9 circles of hell, at circle seven, which is violence, their punishment is drowning theirselves in blood, which is also in the first part and the last part of the MV where Minnie was poured and coated with blood. And there was also a shot, whereas a transparent wine glass was pour with red wine, that looks like Minnie was inside and being drowned with blood. Soyeon: Represents fraud. She accepted her fate of being dark, because of Soojin. She was inlove with Soojin, but Soojin loves Shuhua. After Shuhua's bridge, where Soojin is whispering to Shuhua, then Shuhua suddenly changed into Soyeon. Where Soyeon pretends to be Shuhua. And also in Shuhua's part, she was on the same setting with Soyeon, in the barbed wires, shows that Shuhua in the barbed wires was actually Soyeon. According to the Dante's 9 circles of hell, at circle eight, which is fraud, their punishment was being poured with excrement (human/animal wastes), which is also in the last chorus where Soyeon was in a pool of a mud-like substance. Yuqi: A disciple of Shuhua and Miyeon. She was a loyal disciple of the two, but then she was attracted to Soojin. She peeks into Soojin and turned herself into confusion. There is also a cup of wine, it connotes purity. Accoring to the biblical reference, drinking a cup of wine can link you to a holy figure, and it was Miyeon, but it was too late. In Yuqi's second verse, her tears became blood, which means that she had commited sin . When Miyeon knew about it, she banished Yuqi, where she falls, leading to end her life, maybe? Miyeon: Deity of pureness or a symbolism of a god. She knows all, and she is above everyone. She punishes everyone that commit sin. Miyeon is in tears, because of despair that she cannot prevent everyone from darkness. Shuhua: Another deity of pureness. She was inlove with Soojin, which is a demon. Despite of their differences she's still deeply inlove with her, so as Soojin. There's also a part where Soojin whispered "Ab Imo Pectore" in Shuhua's ears, which means "From the bottom of my heart" or sincere love. That's why Soyeon was envious on her. Minnie, Soyeon and Yuqi are angels but then sinned and corrupted by darkness. Shuhua a pure deity, and Soojin, the demon, fell inlove with each other, that caused envy to Soyeon. And Miyeon was above all, but failed to prevent her people to fall into darkness. I also think that their line distribution is associated with the level of their sin; darkness takes over :(from the greatest to lowest form of sin they committed) Soyeon (Fraud) Minnie (Violence) Soojin (Lust) Shuhua Yuqi Miyeon (Purely goodness)

@iT'z MilkyShoes Roman soldiers dressed/covered Jesus with purple cloth before beating and crucifying Him, because the purple cloth signifies royalty, given that He is a royal for them. But I think for the MV, they just used it for lust or for suitability for the dark theme. And I saw some theories they said it symbolizes homosexuality, I don't think so.

Interesting. Also want to add that the devil was once an angel of music (Ezequiel 28:13) called Lucifer. And he wanted to be like God and reach a higher position (Isaiah 14:13-14). Going above the sky, stars, clouds. So the temptress can symbolize the devil, and yes, I know it says she, but the devil doesn't have a gender. They use "he" cause idk to be honest, but the devil is a fallen angel, not human, no gender. You can agree or disagree, it's just what I see and I'm Christian, so the symbolism in the MV I see, I interpret it in a spiritual sense. But take it however you like 😊

@Nicole Anne Hernandez I actually think that Soojin and Miyeon are the same character. Soojin is the devil that is presenting as a beautiful goddess (Miyeon) to lure in the angels. In Yuqi's corridor scene you see her looking at Soojin. Then we see her face again and after that we see Miyeon pouring the red wine. She also seems the only one that doesn't really come in contact with Soojin. Minnie is seen fighting the attraction the whole m/v. She seems to have enough when she does the gunshot thingy. She could have killed her self or given in. Either way she ends up in hell. In her first verse Soyeon is trying to fight her desire. Just like Minnie. She is asking for help and to be set free but in the end of her rap she accepts it saying "If this is a sin, I'll pay the piper" (I'm not sure this is the exact translation but it is something similar to that). The lick can also represent something more dirty but I doubt they would have indications of sex) and is seen being care free and rolling in the mud/red stuff that represents hell. Shuhua is one of the Angels. But she is seen in Soojin's/Miyeon's throne room surrounded by Soojin's minions (the ones that were also with Minnientrying to tempt her). But they look like they're actually worshipping her instead of trying to tempt her. In her scene has purple light and she is talking about being covered in a purple scent. Soojin's warning purple clothes and having scenes with purple background. She is talking about red love which can be interpreted as the devil's love because Soojin has second in red lighting. When Soojin touches her she says "Whatever people say, fall in love" which means she genuinely loves Soojin and doesn't only feel lust or desire towards her. Towards the end of the m/v all the members have black clothing and are surrounded by crosses which can represent korea as a country that isn't really progressive when it comes to LGBTQ+. Soojin's plan has worked. But while they go to hell that doesn't mean the members think that homosexuals should go to hell. I think they go there because of the belief that gay people go to hell. Hell is supposed to be this bad place where sinners go and a lot of Christian's think homosexuality is a sin. Soyeon said that the "she" can mean a lot of things and that other relationships are valid as well (again don't remember her words exactly but I'm sure you can find it. She said something similar to my version). (G)I-DLE’s albums have a black and white version. The black is called true. The white is called lie. This to me means that they have given into their true desires in the m/v, they were lying when they were angels in heaven and suppressing their desires. The darkness is their truth. I'm sorry for any spelling mistakes. English is like my third language and I'm still learning it. I often also type "if" instead of "of" because the letters are next to each other and I don't see every mistake I make.

@@eatjinskookie7156 that's a question only you can answer. I still listen to some songs but I also pray for them. Let's pray for their souls together. I honestly don't blame the artists 100%. They're probably just doing what they are told but there comes a point where they have to think for themselves and wake up. Maybe it's hard for them to think spiritually if they were never raised to do so or never introduced to any of the teachings of Christ, etc.

Omg I agree with 90% of the meanings you caught, it was so very interesting. My theory is along these lines... A few differences though. The white room is purgatory, the red and mud scenes are hell and where Yuqi was at the start is heaven. In the I Trust showcase Soyeon said she was inspired by the anime "Konosuba - God's blessing on the wonderful world" If you look it up, the protagonist finds himself in purgatory and there is a goddess there trying to steer him away from entering heaven and into hell. Also interesting is Yuqi has said that Miyeon is the devil, but looks like an angel. Putting these things together - Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua were angels in heaven, Soojin is the devil temptress who poses as insanely beautiful Miyeon to gain access to heaven, where she can lure the girls into purgatory, where they can choose to carry on living a lie or give into their sin and desires (I personally think the sin and desires are definitely same sex attraction) and if they do, they go to hell but are free from their prison, their lie. As you also mention -the black version of their album is named True and the white one Lie. The moral is you have to trust yourself to live your truth even if people think it is bad or a sin, we can't live in a lie. Which is a very inspiring message especially for lgbt people. Another thing to back up the "Miyeon-Soojin-are-the-same" thing is Yuqi's scene, when she first gets distracted and looks over, we see Soojin, the second time she looks it's Miyeon and she suddenly becomes hypnotized by her beauty, dropping the goblet of wine. Also we see Miyeon another time and she is high up on Soojin's throne, with the dark minions below her. If Soojin and Miyeon are one and the same, it's showing her in an authoritative position in Soojin's environment to drive that point home to us. Minnie is helplessly watching Yuqi from Purgatory through the curtain, about to fall into the same trap as she did. Yuqi ends up falling and appearing with the devilish make up, meaning she has given in and has now joined the dark side. There is also a scene of Miyeon and Shuhua dancing close, but it's only a split second in the chorus before Shuhua's verse, next thing we know Shuhua is in an embrace with Soojin. I think they all feel differently about their sinful desires and give into different things too while in purgatory, Soyeon seems to accept her fate, she is care-free dancing around in purgatory and rolling around in the mud in hell. Imo she happily gives into desire, she is happy to be set free. Shuhua gives into love rather than lust and desire, she loves the temptress. Her interaction with Soojin feels deeper than the rest and her lyrics talk about painting herself with red - the devil's love. Then there is the "the bottom of my heart" phrase whispered between them also the song lyrics literally say "whatever people say, fall in love" right over their scene. Also when we see her for her verse, she seems in control of Soojin's minions, they are seemingly worshipping her. I think maybe Soojin and Shuhua do actually represent true love. Minnie is trying to fight her desires all m/v long, for me she represents the "denial/non-acceptance/conflict" stage - Soojin's minions are trying to tempt her, they are all over her in the m/v. Also we see the glass of wine being poured in front of her while she is curled up in a protective ball, again, signifying that she is being actively tempted to give in and sin when she doesn't want to. With Minnie and the gunshot to the head I think it means that she can't continue to live a lie but would rather kill herself than give into her desires. (sadly, a lot of lgbt people do kill themselves because of prejudice and negative feelings about how they feel) the wine spills - it's game over. She ends up in hell too because suicide is also considered a sin. If I am correct, I find Minnie's story extremely sad. I do find the poison apple theory with her very interesting though, maybe she does give in even though she would almost rather kill herself than do so. I wish they would have shown her biting into the apple over the gunshot to the head motion though if this is the case. In the end Soojin's plan has worked, they are all in hell, but they are free. We see them dancing on the podiums in black, with crosses being held up to them. I wrote a lot of my theory out here with examples of the video to elaborate, if anyone cares to read... distortedversionsofclarity.tumblr.com/post/614858687933235200/full-comprehensive-theory-of-gi-dles-oh-my

this is a little theory i made up according dante's inferno: soyeon and minnie enter the outlying layer of hell, as they dont commit to either good or bad, but both of them enter the 'gate' where they face soojin who represents the devil. shuhua and yuqi fall for soojin as well, while miyeon is the one representing an angel/god. in her rap part, soyeon sings "how could you put me into the temptation, was it call from hell" while shes in the white room aka ante inferno, she is regreting her decision to go through hell but it was a desire she couldnt escape which led her to commiting a sin. soojin was like a sugar coated drug, a black hole she fell in but later didnt mind paying a piper if it was a sin. shuhua, who was representing an angel falls for her as well as soojin whispers to her. the white apple soojin is holding represents a sin (bible reference). minnie commits a suicide which leads to 7th layer of hell, the black paint represents the darkness of her thoughts as well as the punishment for her sin. in miyeons scene, she is observing the other angels, who could represent the fallen angels as theyre dark and decides to jump into the black hole that is commiting a sin. please add to it if youve read inferno :)

For me it is still goddamn GAY, I have two interpretations. First, the lyrics and music video represent falling in love with a woman who showed them love that they cannot forget throughout their lives, but something's holding them back which is the religion and the society. They choose the girl and they need to pay the price for falling in love with a same gender. Second, as you see Soojin is the tempress and the other five was the fallen angels who fell in love with Soojin. The five angels got cast out of heaven ( Minnie ) because they choose Soojin (the devil, Lilith) over God. You all see them falling and jumped out from heaven, paid the price which is their wings (innocence) just to be with Soojin. (I'll just copy paste what I typed earlier)

I think that soojin is not just a girl who tempt them but an allegory of music that got them expelled from heaven. Their music took them to the sky in a metaphorical way to represent success such as it took them to the stars and those stars could be the other idols. Anyways I love your theory and I love that soojin represented temptation, I mean who else could play that role XDXDXD Thanks for the video it's always amazing has you interpret every single detail, just amazing 🖤🖤🖤

Here's My Explanation: Soojin Was Actually The Demon Leading Angels Into Her Side, Soyeon Is (probably,im not sure yet) Her Servant, She Took Over Soyeon, Thats What The Lyric, "Set Me Free, Set Me Free" Means, Shes Basically Begging To Be Let Out The Darkness That Soojin Gave Her, But It Was Too Late And She Got Corrupted, That Set Me Free Lyric also Represents The Scene Where Soyeon Was In Barbed Wire. Shuhua, Minnie, And Yuqi Are Angels, Miyeon Is Their High Goddess, Miyeon Was Left In Despair Because She Failed To Protect Everypne From Soojin, Shuhua Fell In Love With Soojin, And When Miyeon Found Out She Banished Her From Heaven, Minnie Was Then Caught By A Demon And Dragged To Hell, As In The First Scene Where She Was Being Dragged, She Went Face To Face With Soyeon And Some Demon Minions In The White Room Soyeon Was In, She Kept Trying And Trying To Protect Herself Until She Became Mind Broken And Crazy That She Ends Up Killing Herself, And When Miyeon Found Out That She Commited Suicide, She Was Banished, It Represents The Last Scene Where Minnie Was Covered In A Blood-like Liquid, Yuqi Was Also Caught Face To Facr With Soyeon, And She Also Became Crazy, And So She Accepted Her Fate Into Going To Hell.

If your god exists and truly loves all, they wouldn't abandon you. It's the cultish people who took the wheel and started discriminating everyone different than their white straight mold, and they don't deserve to win. There's nothing wrong with you, you don't have to change.

Here is my theory Soojin:Represents the devil.Soojin is trying to tempt the angels to commit a sin.You could see that Soojin sounds like she's seducing the angels in the mv.You could also see that Soojin’s nail color is Red.And Red is a seductive color. So that's why her nail color is Red. Minnie:Represents violence.Minnie falled into Soojin's temptation. So now Minnie is in a white room(the white room represents purgatory). So now Minnie is trying to escape purgatory she's tired of trying to escape from purgatory that is why she nosebleeds in the mv.Minnie is soo tired of escaping from purgatory so she shot herself in the second chorus. Now Minnie is covered in mud(mud represents Hell so Minnie was banned from visiting Heaven Miyeon:Represents God Miyeon knows that Soyeon committed a sin so Miyeon put Soyeon in purgatory. But Miyeon wanted to do more than just putting Soyeon in purgatory. So Miyeon covered Soyeon in mud(mud means hell so Soyeon was banned from visiting Heaven). Shuhua:Shuhua almost got tempted by Soojin but she didn't get tempted.Shuhua didn't get tempted by Soojin because you could see on the mv Shuhua said she covered herself with Purple scent. And Purple is a calming color not like Red which is a seductive color. And that's how she didn't get tempted by Soojin. Soyeon:Soyeon got tempted by Soojin. So Soyeon is also in purgatory like Minnie Yuqi:Yuqi is scared of Soojin.Yuqi didn't want to get tempted by Soojin. But she got tempted by Soojin. So now Yuqi is in purgatory like Soyeon and Minnie.

Soojin the Temptress definitely would seduce me, she's so beautiful and sexy! I liked the fact you include both theories of this being possibly a gay love song or a loving one's self type of song. I personally see the latter, but I can see the argument for both sides and it could possibly be actually both at the same time. You can count on G-Idle to create something that can interpreted in many ways, that's one reason I really like them!

I don’t think you saw my request on the last video so I’ll post it here. I was wondering if you could try and do a bighit universe theory video? Like how you think bts txt and maybe Gfriend are connected/ in the same universe. I’ve seen some already but I would love to see how you connect them! I love your videos your theory’s are so convincing and they all make sense! Thank you!

Sorry, but I don't want this video. Before Gfriend was part of BigHit, they had nothing to do with BTS and TXT but now magically it is? That makes no sense. I feel BigHit is forcing to make Gfriend a part of it. So I don't want it.

Via I respect that and being a fan of both bighit groups and Gfriend before bighit I can see where you are coming from. I’m not saying they are connecting but there are some things that point to it. I just want to see what she thinks of it.

* the secret to figuring out this MV is in their hair. Nature vs Nurture. No matter what kind of environment you grow up in, if it’s in your nature, there no escape from who you are. * (This ain’t no behind the scenes so no comments about hair dye please, I know) Hair color is something you’re born with, genetically coded in you. Which is why hair color shows the true nature of the girls in the mv. Hair type as well, although, in the video, it seems the darker haired angels must’ve artificially made it wavy. * Both humans in the video must have sinned because they both are imprisoned at the beginning * Human Minnie who longs for freedom and seeks salvation for her sins. She is infatuated with good. She knows good can free her and give her salvation for her crimes. The references to blood and wine, Jesus offering of salvation. According to Christianity, accepting the divine blood of Christ can cleanse you, liberate you, and bring you salvation. Looking through the opening, catching a glimpse of the beautiful angel Yuqi and heaven. That is good and pure. That’s what she longs for. But from her black hair, she is evil by nature and also longs for it (as seen with flashes with Soojin), but struggles against it, wanting to be good, believing it would free her. You can even see this in her hair which is black, yet has white braided into it. She seems to be struggling with herself. This struggle makes her both good and evil, or maybe neither. She seems to be stuck in a limbo. * Human Soyeon who wears white but with black hair and is infactuated with darkness. She too was in limbo, like Minnie, but I’m guessing she was put in imprisonment for a different reason. Rather than for a crime or sin, it was perhaps for love. * During her rap, she is encircled by barbed wires, and I’ve heard some people connect it to the crown of thorns worn by Jesus. That holy and pure blood that Minnie is so infactuated with? That so called “salvation”? Soyeon wipes it from her lip, as if mocking it’s worth and purity. You see, it’s her blood. She represents Jesus, a more cynical Jesus that is. * Jesus is God’s human son. the black hair on Soyeon representing the tainted nature of humans. * Soyeon’s rap is a cry to God: “Oh God! How could you put me into this temptation, is it a call from hell?” You can say it’s a parallel to Jesus in his ninth hour: "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Both cry out to God, asking why God has does this. Why must they take this pain? * You see, due to the nature of Jesus/Soyeon being human and thus, tainted by human desires and attractions, she couldn’t help but fall for and began to long for evil, going against God’s will. She cries out to him, rebelling against him. Her dark nature taking over. That temperance she was given to her by god is now in a dark hole. God’s son has become a tainted fool, and can’t be controlled. If loving Soojin/Lucifer is a crime, then so be it, she’ll pay the consequences. * I say this for Soyeon specifically because in the scenes during her rap with the gray filter, she’s the only one who actually approached Soojin, well the only one other than Shua (we’ll get to her), and was told “ab imo pectore” meaning “from the bottom of my heart” in Latin. * After being imprisoned, She began to openly embrace and chase the darkness. Which is why as compared to Minnie, who seems to be stuck in some sort of limbo/struggle, she seems more certain and free. * So both humans are in some sort of limbo, having both “evil” and “good”, but Soyeon chooses her side, breaking free from the limbo. * She falls and dons black clothing during the chorus, completely in tune with her nature, while Minnie in the chorus is still stuck in imprisonment, and seems to be going crazy from the dissonance and inner turmoil at times. * Miyeon drops the chalice full of the Soyeon’s blood down to hell indicating the divine blood is tainted, and that there is no more salvation, while Soyeon fearlessly walks past the burning and broken chalice, embracing the darkness. I don’t think she is actually in hell yet, rather, the chalice falling represents that she’s fallen. If you look at the beings (backup dancers) that are surrounding her, they are not completely black like the ones Soojin was leading. They are tainted humans, following Soyeon, no longer as the Savior, rather, the AntiChrist. * When Soyeon stopped condemning herself for the sinful/evil/wrong part of her nature, and accepted it and embraced her desires, she became born again as her true self. “From dust you were made, and from dust you shall return.” It was said that god created man from dust and clay or mud. And so Soyeon once again returns to the mud, and comes out, being born again, symbolizing her true self as the AntiChrist * Minnie is still imprisoned, and she begins to become darken and become tainted as well, while desperately holding on to what is right and pure, and what she finds to be good.. * But In the end, We find Minnie in the Red mud like Soyeon once had. It seems she has succumbed to her true nature. After all, the divine salvation she sought was also tainted and could not free her. She is about to be born again. * Light colored hair Soojin indeed is the fallen angel Lucifer, as though she wears dark clothes, her hair is light like the Miyeon who represents God. Even brighter in fact. She seems to be the most free... * Yuqi is an angel with dark hair. Although, with the golden lighting, you can see her hair catches bits of it, making it seem like she has light spots in her hair at times. Even though she’s been an angel and lived in the golden palace of heaven of all her life, she’s been secretly attracted to what’s “bad”. She knows she shouldn’t, yet she can’t help it, she keeps seeing and thinking about it. As you can see her in her expressions and body language, she’s cautious and nervous like she’s doing something she’s not supposed to, yet completely enraptured by it. And as the lyrics say, “she destroys her reason and lets her in” Yuqi gives in to her longing. * Miyeon, with her light colored hair, represents God. She brings judgement on those who are impure or evil. Anyone or anything that is impure, she will push them down to hell. Which is why she later does so to Yuqi * I do actually think Shua represents God Miyeon before she took the helm as God and ruler and became obsessed with good and evil. You can tell due to the location (only Soojin and Miyeon ever show up here) and from the fact that she is being worshipped by other angels(?)/ good beings, showing her highly regarded status. * She looks like a more innocent and flowy, the lighting is white and pure like snow, and she looks less stern, and definitely seemed like she and Soojin/Lucifer had something going. We’ll call her Archangel Shua. * Archangel/Shua and Lucifer/Soojin had were in love. When Shua was around Soojin, she could let her hair down and straight, but the relationship changed when Archangel/Shua took the helm as God/Miyeon. * Soojin moves on, seducing all kinds of girls, acting like the snake from Genesis, and Miyeon condemns them all. * And even Soyeon who was meant to be the salvation and savior falls, rebelling against Miyeon and pursuing Soojin. * Lol this turned into a whole drama. * Anyways, the message is “being true to yourself is the true liberation” or “if you are gay, be gay” and “praise AntiChrist Soyeon”

I was wondering if you were going to do an analysis and breakdown on this mv. I was also talking about it with my friend lol I didn’t see the trailer for it either, but I did see the pictures for their new mini-album. I barely started the mv and I was like "Wow..." just the beginning notes. And the camera opening up as if we were opening our eyes. And the ending with the camera frame closing as if we were closing our eyes. When I watched to video a few days ago, I had the feeling it was about them. This all represents a part of their souls. About trusting in themselves. The whole time I was watching the video I felt that emotion and what they were trying to convey; all without reading the subtitles. Later, I found out that So Yeon said it was about self-love, but people can interpret however they wish. It also reminded me of BTS’s message of loving yourself and trusting yourself. Accepting your shadows and all that. The light and shadow are mentioned a lot in the mv, their concept photos, and the stage performances show it too. I don’t know why it’s like anima of their soul, the feminine part. The part of the psyche that is directed inward, and is in touch with the subconscious. The anima and animus are described in Carl Jung's school of analytical psychology as part of his theory of the collective unconscious. Jung described the animus as the unconscious masculine side of a woman, and the anima as the unconscious feminine side of a man, each transcending the personal psyche. I also, know that AB IMO PECTORE means From the Bottom of My Heart or something like that. This music video also reminded me of the Silent Hill films; because the dancers moved a certain way.

Great analysis! Just a thought: could they possibly be singing about lust rather than love? Lust is often associated with sexual desire but it's actually the desire for anything immediately and it often stems from covetousness or envy. This intense wanting often blinds people and leads to mistakes that can have severe and sometimes irreversible effects. Either way I was really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this video. I always do. Keep up the great work!

I was watching From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series last night and the episode I watched (Season 1, Episode 8) seemed to mirror this MV almost exactly. One of the characters had been having visions of the "truth" which leads him to a seductive demi-goddess who offers him power and enlightenment but he must first give in to her advancements in order to accept her offer. It was a surprising coincidence given the timing of the video's release and when I happened to watch the episode.

Thanks for the theory and explanation! When watching the video, I could also see Soojin as the temptress but she embodies the sin and temptation. Am I the only one who sees Soojin is a demon? The mark Ab Imo Perfectore might be a mark of a pact. And the price might be Soyeon going to hell with Minnie (as they both seem to be the same person).

I was really for it being a gay anthem ever since it came out just because it makes me vibe like a song of seduction that draws me in. But now that I keep watching and listening it doesn’t feel like a gay anthem it seems as if doesn’t have to do with gay love I think people are thinking of this vaguely and on the surface...I’m starting to understand the song better than I did before.

So if it was in a human context, basically soojin could be considered a player who leaves her mark on everyone she plays, and they all end up falling for her. They know that falling for her is wrong but they can’t hold back from the temptation, and even when they got away (broke up) they steal feel as if their in love and still don’t feel free?

Why? Soyeon hasn't said that. She only said that the message is about trusting oneself instead of society. Which can apply the situation in the song, loving a girl in the face of people who tells you it is wrong and a sin, you need self love, strength and trust to accept yourself. Also "girl you make me sick, but then you make me wanna stick around, I know I got it bad" sooo... Soyeon's got it bad for herself? Doubtful. Let's not forget that the song addresses the she as babe too and talks about wanting this person's hands and smell on them. I don't see how this can be 3rd person.

@@eatjinskookie7156 I saw the movie and it reminded me of the mv. For example, in the part where Minnie has a jelly-like thing running down her face, in the film, during the coronation of the first king of Israel (Saul) they also spilled something similar on her face. I think Minnie represented the king's story. In the film, the king refuses to follow "the path of god", becomes obsessive, afraid of losing the throne to David, who was more loved by the people than he is, so he does everything to kill David. In the mv we also see Minnie refusing to drink the wine given to her and in the bible says that wine is the word of God. The king commits suicide and we also see Minnie in the mv supposedly killing herself, and in the end she is in hell. The other members have not yet figured out what the references are. Oh, and in the part where they say "She" I think it's the devil they mean. In some places the devil is referred to as a woman. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6DTgY2cirCUhbs *Well, this is just my theory. I apologize if I wrote something wrong. My English is not 100% 😊
