alright. so it wasn't just mine that had that weird tightness in the rifle and case... the backpack confused the absolute hell out of me with all the clips, but i eventually figured it out. that third clip on the side is for Yobbo's tail, so he can be perched on his shoulder.. that one took me more than a moment to figure out lol... the more Noks, the merrier!

'80s 3.75" GI Joe: My brother and I had just about every character from the beginning in '82 until '86, maybe early '87. He watched the cartoon, I read the comics. I have no affinity for any of the characters that came out after that from a nostalgia perspective, but I'll say this: right now, GI Joe Classified is my favorite line beating out even Star Wars. I've picked up just about everything I can lay hands on, including characters I knew nothing about. I haven't really been disappointed yet. Except for the flimsy weapons, but I understand they're working on that, so hopefully the days of bending a rifle just removing it from the package and never being able to get it back the way it was will soon be behind us. :)

The bow, arrow, and quiver are reuse, they previously came with the Shadow Tracker. Hasbro has been really knocking out the Dreadnoks lately, I now have a good group of 6 of them, Zartan, Zarana, Buzzer, Ripper, Gnawgahyde, and Torch, with Road Pig and Zandar coming soon. A Dreadnok-related set I would love to see Hasbro make, seems like an ideal convention exclusive: 4-pack of Zartan, Buzzer, Ripper and Torch as Cold Slither, complete with their instruments (maybe break-away instruments?)

I had zero interest in ST as WWE had a similar character drop when ST was announced. I found him and wasn't too bothered to seek out ST. Then I found him at a random Walmart, and something told me it might be my only chance, just for the gear, and knowing nothing else about him. I'm not sure what I did with him? THEM. Both are around here, somewhere...??

I think Classified is the best toy line that Hasbro has, followed by Marvel Legends and lastly Black Series. Also not a completionist, just buying what I like, but love troop building.

My Classified animal grail is a bear. I don’t think they’ve ever done a bear animal companion. Dolphin, Ray, Bobcat, and Kangaroo…check. But a Classified Bear would be amazing! Yes I know and have ordered the Mythic Legions bear. That thing is massive. It is Juggernaut size. I want a Grizzly Adams sized bear with Timber articulation with a kick to get in standing poses. Yobo should have had some articulation, tail mostly. I still loves em.

The Dreadnoks are by far the most fun corner of the G.I. Joe world to me, just a swampy Mad Max 80's movie poster of a team, hard not to love. I do enjoy seeing all the crazy new releases from this line, although my experience collecting it was a weird one. I've sold most of my Classified collection, what I have left is in a tub waiting to eventually be sold. I collected it for about two years, most of which was during lockdown when it was pretty fun trying to hunt them down here in the UK. Whilst they are some of the best figures on the market today, no question, my total lack of any attachment to the property ate away at me as time went on. I kept thinking how there were dozens of other figures from properties I was invested in that could've been on the shelf instead and it made later purchases harder to justify. Since selling most of them including my favourites from the line I don't feel any regret about it, I'm glad I don't have that second-guessing feeling anymore and now those figures are owned by people who'll enjoy them more than I did.

They were right inside the door. Above the Hoth diorama. UNfortunately, they closed shop last April, thanks to a greedy landlady, who wound up losing the rest of her tenants in that plaza after tripling(!!!) the rent after Kmart got razed. No word on whether Saga found a new home, just rumors. ANYway...Gnawgahyde looks good, and really what I expected the Sonyverse Kraven to look like...which they whiffed into lazy grey survival gear. @_@ (Swap Age of Ultron Quicksilver head onto this guy?? HMMM!!) I do wish the monkey had a slightly better sculpt. or was more Capuchin like, so I can use him elsewhere for Crystal. IF I were doing Hangover (Hi, Boss! and Peaches....), Community, or even Night at Museum customs. Love you got Razorback out to work with Porkbelly! LOL I actually HAVE seen this guy (and the ATV+Wreckage) at Target, but no one has touched him since the restock, so it's another "wait for clearance" purchase like Mutt/Junkyard among others. I found extra Snake/Timber at Ross, a while back, too. They randomly get in Target clearance, but Planet Overstock seems to get a lot of their toys from Target, too? (Looking at you, Hoth Snowman Trooper!)
