G.I. Robot was honestly one of the only other characters I knew when Creature Commandos was first announced. The other one was Frankenstein. I found out about G.I. Robot by complete accident in a bunch of Google searches in 2022 or 2023 I think. Frankenstein, I only knew about him because he actually already has a McFarlane Toys action figure from a few years ago. Edited: Either way, I trust James Gunn and I think he's cooking here. This is so unique, unexpected, and cool. *Let's go!!!!*

Damn, i totally forgot about having that comic, but seeing this, so much comes back! I remember the robotic Samurai going up against JAKE and, after defeating it, the Japanese build a robot Geisha (knowing that JAKE wouldn't shoot a woman, even a robotic one). Makes me want to try and find those comics again!

Anyone interested in G.I. Robot should look into the Ghost Machine comic's "Junkyard Joe". Similar concept but a very different take on the mechanical solider idea. More of a "the watmr is over but the scars and old threats remain thriller" than a traiditional weird war story.

Speaking of the creature Commandos does anyone remember the tine where DC paired them up with SGT Rock? I know that some people didn't like it but it would've been cool if we got to see more of that or better yet if both Marvell and DC were to collaborate again i think they should add both SGT Rock and Easy Company along with SGT Fury and the Howling Commandos... i think that would be badass as well

Just watched the whole season. It's well-animated, super NSFW, and well-written. Is it the best thing ever? No? Am I looking forward to Season 2? Yes. Gi Robot is my favourite I like the Tone. I did not think about politics the whole way through. So about 7.8/10 from a non weeb, non-comic reading noob..I wouldn't pay to see it, as I didn't that didn't matter. Thanks Readit for the link.
