The ending of Final Space is actually kind of poetic. And I don't mean the cliffhanger episode, I mean the real-life project itself. The show is trapped in the same cliffhanger in reality as it is in the show itself, has a huge, all-powerful, god-like corporations holds it hostage for eldritch "tax purposes", all as incomprehensible as the Titans that threatened the universe in the show itself. Olan Rogers is much like his character, Gary, fighting again impossible powers, with the true cliffhanger being if he can ever complete it. It's all coming full circle.

It should be illegal to hold rights to canceled shows. If you write it off as tax exemption the show should instantly be released from copyrights for future studios to take and use as they please. Your failure as a publisher shouldn't affect others that can do your job better.

I don’t understand why the industry is allowed to take an IP , deem it available for write off, and the government rewards them for never using said ip ever again. They aren’t allowed to generate any income from it, what benifit is it to the United States to allow them to do this?

I was hooked after the first episode and I'm telling you that show is a roller coaster ride it truly is it's cool it's funny but the feelings in it are deep like I don't know how many of the episodes I cried through I mean a very well told story and I hated to see it Go the characters are so like the the story is on the secondary to the characters and how they're all intertwined together and the reason why they're together and it's just it's awesome
