Sounds exciting. Some say the reason the C8 Corvette is mid engine is because GM has more confidence in their traction control computers. Challenger is definitely a straight-line car. People have tried to make track cars out of them but they definitely always under-perform, even with heavy modification just simply due to their size and maneuverability compared to smaller, lighter cars. Let it be known, though, that in a straight line, almost nothing is faster.
i feel like you can still disable the stability control completely (maybe hold button for 10 secs) which would really help, as you can see the transition from grip to drift (and vise versa) can be a little twitchy and unpredictable but i think the best way to drive the new hemis is to just fully commit to the drift and get more angle asap, they actually handle surprisingly well on or near the limit of angle. thank you for the video it was quite entertaining.
I would love to see DK get his hands on a ZL1 1LE Camaro. It's also a supercharged V8 with around 650 HP. The 1LE package is built to make it go around the track much better and I'd love to see what he thinks of that beast.

You can tell it put a gleam in his eye. It probably took him back to before he became a master. The power, the adrenaline. He would probably master that car in no time. To see a legend act like an excited kid explaining to much to cover up his excitement.

So cool to see the DK in a car he is not familiar with, and push it a bit. Explaining the experience to the owner was very cool. Great video! I would like to see other reviews like this. 👍

My goodness that whining noise from supercharger is absolutely loud. Glad DK enjoying the car as well i enjoy this video.
I would love to see them take this car and add pure Japanese refinement to such a heavy and unwieldy vehicle.

He wasn’t very fond of the Corvette but it seems to me he likes the Challenger Hellcat Red Eye☺️

I’m amazed at how well he handles that much weight and power

Thank you for watching. Please subscribe to our channel. Tell your friends! It was a lot of fun. There was a qualifying and a final BATTLE at AE86 on that day. There was also a test run of my GT86. I ran a great mile.

I loved the video! It's very weird but also really cool to see one of these being driven in Japan, especially by Mr. Tsuchiya. Here in the U.S., it's not very weird or rare to see a MK5 Supra being driven around, but I can imagine seeing one of these being driven around in Japan would certainly be very cool and odd.

It’s lowkey sad how the drift king shows more love and appreciation to the Hellcat than most Americans these days.

Holy crap how did I not know you guys have a KZbin channel?! If there’s ANYONE I want to watch driving, racing, drifting, it’s the Drift King himself! Good to see you having fun with the straight line missile Hellcat. Never thought I’d see the day when Tsuchiya-san would be driving the Heavy Dodge. Great job! I’d have smashed that thing into a barrier lol.
