Nothing pulls like the Aristo-Craft Dash-9, I put three of mine together and they are non stoppable!

Thank you. I have 2 f40ph amtrak locomotives (great trains 1980's models). They look funny with my aristocraft passenger cars, and nobody makes superliners. So mth is also 1:32 and its nice to see the comparison side by side. I'll be looking for mth passenger cars from here forward

MTH Railking Gauge #1 Dash 8 is 1/32 scale for modeling standard gauge train prototypes. Thus, it is approximately 10% smaller than the 1/29 scale for both USA Trains and Aristo-craft. You mentioned problems with the MTH sound that may be caused by you using Aristo-Craft pulse width modulation (pwm) for power. MTH states in its trains instructions to not use pwm.

How would I operate that mth engine separately on piko 35310 TRACK AND POWER SET (G-SCALE).
@jbhuse3 жыл бұрын
you would only have forward and reverse. The Piko system is not DCS so it would not control any sound functions or smoke.

Thank you for that but my problems occurred using ac power and using dc bridgewerks directly connected with no dial connected at all i only used the pwm for this video so i didnt have to deal with the connection problems. I also updates the firmware on the remote and tiu and re flashed the dash 8 sound. the problem i was having was when i would shut everything off and go to use it a day later i would have to re sync all my engines i have 6 mth trains so any info u have would help. thank you

Will the MTH trains run on aristocraft track also? And if so what models railking? Thanks
@jbhuse6 жыл бұрын
The G scale line of MTH will run on Aristocraft track or any g scale track like LGB, Piko, and USA Trains.

What throttles can I use for g scale and power supply? my gp 38 is going to have an esu decoder in it.
@jbhuse8 жыл бұрын
There are some really good options out there. My first recommendation would be the blutom facebook.com/GScaleBT/?fref=ts As for power supply i would recomend a simple 24v power supply off amazon with a simple throttle www.amazon.com/Switching-Transformer-Regulated-Computer-Project/dp/B00ANFJ26U/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1477325165&sr=8-6&keywords=24v+power+supply I have used bridgewerks but they are overprices if you ask me.

Who is the manufacturer of the track in the center?
@jbhuse8 жыл бұрын
That track is made by USA trains. I think it's the USA style ties.

I've got the same light out on my Ariatocraft Dash 9 from day 1. You said it may be a solder problem?
@jbhuse8 жыл бұрын
I was told by my friend that owns a hobby store that there was a problem with a cold solder joint and you needed to reflow the solder to fix it. I have yet to find it though.

I haven't taken it apart yet. Would love to fix it though. It's a great running engine aside from that.
