G Shock GD350 tactical perfection

I bought this exact watch in 2017 at sportsman warehouse by 2021 I started thinking the battery would die . Amazingly as of Jan 2024 it still running strong. Great watch

I have this same watch for years. And 2 years ago I was in passenger seat in geo tracker. With no seatbelt. We were going 70 and brakes went out. We flipped over. And I got thrown out and got permanent scarring on my arm. Side and shoulder. Wen the medics got there they asked me what day it was( I had no clue.) So I looked at my g shock and told them. Barely scuffed it somehow. And I landed on the road and got that bad road rash. I could've died. But I didnt and neither did that g shock.

I had an accident with one opel vivaro , was delivery car for one shit company and they didn’t fix the brakes and I slip on the oiled road from trucks and agriculture vehicles,I’m fine but I know what you feel . I have one. It's a great watch. Battery has lasted longer than memory (many years). The performance is unchanged, very accurate and durable. I wear it every day, through thick and thin. Only recently (perhaps 4 years in) did the strap fail near the fixing bar. It was easy to DIY replace and worth it. I still use this watch. It is so easy to keep clean too, paint(dry or wet), mud, dust, and general filth, all easy to remove. the watch looks as good as new to this day, I'm no builder but I do a lot with my hands. This has been a great purchase. Glad it gets some love online.

Honestly This Gshock gd350 is a must have!! I have it for over a year now and have it while on pool and beach and it's pretty amazing! And proud that I am wearing a very tough watch 😁👍

I have the negative display version. It's a lot more easy to obtain here in the UK - but I prefer positive displays. This is a great watch for the vibration countdown & hourly vibe signal & alarms. It's got a great backlight too .....

On the positive, it is probably the most legible negative display ever on a G-Shock, apart from the new MIP displays on the next-gen G-Shocks.

You don't have to tell me I bought the gd350 back in 2012 to replace a dw6900 the gd350 is one of my favorites not because it's a complicated watch because it's a No Frills or business and very good time keeping peace I would highly recommend the gd350 today even over a smartwatch

When comparing the light, you called the DW-290 light “LED”. It’s an EL light, not LED. You called the GD-350 “DW-290”. A bit confusing.

@@DeathmetalPersian Basic compared to other casio G shock offerings. Like the Gw9500 I am wearing at this moment. That's what I meant. there is no solar, no special materials, no atomic timming, no barometer, no altimeter, no compass and I could keep going. Just a simple but good g shock. I never mentioned a comparisson to luxury watches.
