Hi Alex, for turning right, in red light, if there is no pedestrian, no traffic, in real exam ,should we turn? Thank you.
@Canadiandrivers10 күн бұрын
Hi! Yes, during the road test, if you’re at a red light and there’s no pedestrian or oncoming traffic, you should proceed with the right turn if it’s safe and legal to do so. Make sure to come to a complete stop first, check for pedestrians, traffic, and signs that might prohibit the turn. Safety is the priority!

Hey Alex, I have a question regarding use of hand breaks. My instructor has told me that his car automatically engages and disengage the handbreak when the car is in the “P” parking mode and that I do not have to manually engage or disengage the handbreak even during my G road test. Is this correct advise? Love the information you are sharing here! Thanks
@Canadiandrivers2 ай бұрын
Hi Thanks for the question! In some modern cars, the handbrake (also known as the parking brake) can indeed engage and disengage automatically when you shift into 'P' (Park), especially if it's an electric handbrake system. However, it’s always a good idea to manually engage handbrake I know some examiners will Mark if you don’t engage manually on the test. Good luck!

Hey i hv question,when we see 2 lines to go straight after lights 2 lines extand to 3 or 4 lines..than which line i should go?
@Canadiandrivers2 ай бұрын
"If you're approaching a light where two lanes extend to three or four lanes after the intersection, you should generally stay in your lane unless there are signs or road markings directing you otherwise. Just be mindful of any changes in lane designation, and choose the lane that matches your direction (e.g., straight, left turn, right turn). Always follow any road signs to ensure you're in the correct lane.

Hi,How many driving fault is ok for G2 test?
@Canadiandrivers2 ай бұрын
Hi! For the G2 test, you have 30 points to work with. Some driving faults will cost you 2 points, while more serious ones will cost you 4 points. As long as you don't lose all 30 points, you're still in the safe zone.
