I've been watching because I'm curious as to what people have done with this house. Most have left the house in original format, which is cool. 👍 I've decided to smash the internal walls down 👷‍♀️ and create 5 single bedroom apartments. If your interested, I'll let you know how much I sell it for.

@@Toogii Hey 👋 I finished the house and put some lighting in the garden and made sure all was neat and tidy in my Alone Home house. I got 37.5% on the garden and sold the house with a profit of $653,298.07. The Johnson family bought it for $941,609.74. I'm pretty happy with that. 👍

Somehow I’m sad watching this even though I’m binging way after the fact and can see there are more then 100 videos in front of me 😂 I will say after watching the first 30 episodes it’s a bit late now and I’m sure it’s long since changed but these early episodes your flips are cool but they are all very samey in the way that you design things. I’m looking forward to seeing you tackle the HGTV stuff cause I think that will help you think more outside the box 👍

I know I am late but if you did spend more time on the gardens you could increase your profits from each house by up to 50%. Most times my profit is more than the original house cost me if I build a modern garden🤓

Yes, your right, but in this house it's not possible to fix up the gardens due to winter and the ground frozen. 🤷‍♀️ Just tried, and I left all the conifers in their pots.

If somebody lived in a house IRL, or you were role-playing in HF, you could easily come up with a gaming setup like that; kid wants a place to play but nobody wants to dismantle grandpa's den right away; he only died last month, after all. ;) But you're flipping a house. You have to make a decision whether you want to honour the house's original design because that might be attractive to one possible set of buyers, especially if the home has historic value. Then you can maybe squeeze a gaming setup into a room you create in the basement, to please any potential teenage youths who might be accompanying their parents for the house buying -- if you do it at all. You could just leave it out. This ISN'T your house. It doesn't matter whether you hate wallpaper. You're trying to sell it to somebody else. You need to update anything you change with some sensitivity to the overall design and period of the house, and you did that in the kitchen and the formerly-paneled bedroom. Alternatively, you make the house entirely over in a more modern style. What you have here is an unholy mishmash, the den and the bathrooms are very much out of place. Now, it doesn't matter to the game, and the buyers are not really smart enough -- though some have definite preferences for old-fashioned and others for modern furniture, and mixing them makes it harder to sell to specific buyers (though you don't use that aspect of the gameplay). But for any minimal adherence to staging a house for a flip, that sort of thing matters.

How did you get a bigger office

Once you buy another house you have the option to move your office there and sell your original shack. Hope that helps!
