My brother had the CD, and we listened to it ALWAYS! Then I got the DVD not long after. I watched it religiously! Then came g3 with Malmsteen and then Petrucci. Also went to the G3show in Wellington with Satch, Vai and Steve Lukather I LOVE THE G3 JAM!!!!!!

Joe has been a HUGE part of my life ever since my dad showed me Live in San Francisco for the first time. This was always a massive bonding part of our relationship. Since we have watched all of the G3’s that were recorded, saw Joe live multiple times together and even got to meet the man himself. Unfortunately he has since passed and I will absolutely cherish every single moment we spent together listening to/talking about Joe and music in general. It’s amazing how much you connect with an artists and other people through the music someone produces. I have watched instrumental music evolve so much since the first time I experienced it and I was thinking it would be really cool to have Joe do a couple KZbin episodes on reacting to the new artists that have come since him. Would be really cool to see what he thinks about current guitarists such as Plini, Owane, Jack Gardininer, Mateus Asato and many others. Long comment here but just thought that would be a cool idea!

I took my 13yo son to see Joe in Buffalo last year, and I’m taking him to see Eric in Buffalo on 9/30. Steve was in Rochester a week after the Joe show, but we couldn’t make it. I’ll be patient for another Steve visit to the area. 😊
