Thank you dude I have the same issue now just trying to get it to pass emission in 3 months. My Fx 35 has the same motor with the same issue it just happened. P0301 mis fire. I will be working on it this weekend.

I’m currently having the same issue 03 g35. I change the coil pack with a different cylinder to see if it was that and it still only showed me cylinder 1. but we took the spark out and it was covered in oil same as the coil pack. So I’m assuming maybe a gasket ?

I changed all my coil packs and spark plugs with new ones it was running fine for about 2 months . But now I have a missfire at idle . I think ima try to change out my injectors next .

check all your vacuum lines

If your coils are drenched in oil you’ll want to replace the spark plug tube seals. Good idea to replace the valve cover gasket too as well. Lots of videos on here explaining it.

Hpw you doing? On the video you said 1 of the spark plugs had oil on the tip and oil on the ignition coil??

I find oil in one of my spark plugs as well , I change all six the coil packs , but they were second coil , but I never change the spark plug , I try cleaning all the spark plug and still experience the same thing . Do you the think the spark plug causing the problem

Could be. What i found later was the boot on the coil pack would crack at the base causing an arc that would cause a missfire

Sounds like u have a cam sensor problem. I have a video on replacing the 2 cam sensors. Its on the end of the 1st Salvage yard awesome junkyard finds video

my pvc has a crack in it when i changed my spark plugs it got bigger and now my car loses rpms under 1k on idle do u think it could be a vacuum leak?

So I'm getting a knock senor code and my car is misfiring. When accelerating, RPMs wont go past 2.5 could this be the knock sensor?

my car is having a misfire right now and a reader told me it was the 2nd cylinder. i changed the spark plug on it but didnt change the coil and im still having misfires. i also had a cam shaft bank 2 sensor on so i went ahead and replaced that too but my car is still misfiring. what should i do ? should i replace the coil aswell ?

Yes you usually want to change both at the same time however if it’s a heater your fine just changing one, however because of your misfire try changing your coil around with another one, if the code moves than it is indeed your coil.

The code is p00 I believe. And sometimes if you keep running the code it'll tell you the coil that's bad. Like p004 is coil for. P001 is coil one etc....

Having the p0300 code and p0304 on my g37 as well with rough idle and lack of power when accelerating changed all spark plugs but only 2 coil packs that help lil bit started idle better on one said but other said still misfire delete the codes now the p0300 code came back with a p0301 Cylinder one misfire and code for MAF sensor someone said it can be blown head gasket or crack in the intake boot (Vacuum leak) any advice or help?

I have a 2014 6mt g37 (q60s) with 50k it’s now misfiring cylinder 3 and random misfire. P0303 and 300. Guess I’m going to get new spark plugs and coils. It also has a leaking valve cover gasket and shot catalytic converters. Plus Ive also had also had other engine codes for MAF sensors and evap codes. I’ve only had the car for 13 months wow this car is far from reliable

No. One way to check is to unplug the connector and see if the engine runs different. Process of elimination ,
