Hey Danny, 1st of all thanks for sharing this video. I have a 2006 Murano which died in the middle of the highway on my wife the other day. I couldn't figure it out it went into limp mode driving about 5-7 mph. She cruised it to the shoulder and we had it towed home. Fast forward to today after testing it out again it was still going into limp mode. I'm watching a number of vids related. Your video saved me a lot of work. My brake and ABS lights were flashing. I checked my fluids and the psf was low. I added atf to the reservoir and all the lights when of and it started driving normally again. Thanks a million man

I am the original owner of a 2004 armada, I would usually get the ABS effect when I had done a jump start to another vehicle, but lately I have been getting a brake light indicator on the dash then VDC and slip lights would turn on and then later get the ABS effect. I checked all three fluids and they were within ranges. I decided to add brake fluid to the max line and this has stopped my issues. Thanks! My 2008 pathfinder stalled after making a left turn. I restarted and noticed VDC and Slip came on at the same time. Watched this video and then checked my fluids. My Power Steering was at min level so I added power steering fluid. I then disconnected battery for 10 minutes to reset computer and voila problem has gone away! Thanks again !!

Wait so let me understand this.. this isnt fixing your car its just patching it for a couple weeks? Does this method still work and how long do the VDC Lights and stuff stay on for? Would this also work buy using a diagnostic device and deleting the codes.

It is just resetting the system later on driving it will pop up again. This does not fix, it’s a common problem with the Infiniti’s, it is a sensor issue that without it it takes off ur ABS VDC slip and another one I can’t remember.. change the sensor if u want ann bc permanent fix.. another one is the gally gasket in the engine behind the timing belt.. big job, but a common problem for g37s, the factory gasket was a defect n most engines will be leaking out from that gasket.. if u change all that it’s like a new car again.. hope this helps someone...

Also check your ABS sensor on your rear differential it can wiggle out and throw all three lights. Or you can just take the sensor out of its spot if you want the lights to come on

I usually get rid of the lights and the buzzing by putting it into neutral while driving 10+ mph and shutting the car off and starting it again- yes while driving. It’s a little sketch but it works every time. My car just needs a new abs module.

I've been dealing with this on my 2005 G35 Coupe 6mt under 70k miles. Having found a few videos and tips on G35 forums... I have seen people talk about 1. low fluid levels (no for me) 2. rusted or impaired sensor contaminates on the brakes (not sure), 3. Fix- High G maneuvers to trigger the ABS to reset. I've had success after 2-6 times going at idle at 5-10 mph (with no one behind me) and SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES and having it skid (no ABS) to a stop. Luckily, I live in a place with lots of empty streets and stop signs... (I've heard of people going to parking lots and doing a hard turn plus the stomping on the brakes) to get the high G's. I've also heard of guys going backwards and slamming on the brakes.). Some guys even take a pair of pliers and hit the ABS humming motor if not shut off will kill your battery and itself - if you can't stop it when you shut off the car and it keeps going. Back up solutions - pull the ABS circuit breaker next to the battery... and or disconnect the battery - that will then continue to screw itself when re-connected the next day itself unless you get it to reset. This is pissing me off now... as I need a car to work and not drive around like a drunk slamming on my brakes, screeching to a stop, turn off and on, and hope it resets... today was 6 times... slick parking garages don't work as well. You really need the hood to dive at taxing speed or 5-10mph... full stop for it to reset. Grrr... If this continues it is time for a dealer to screw me or an semi-competent Shell dealer as there are multiple possible solutions.

Dear Danny Johnson, I had the exact problem shown in your above video. Fluid levels were all OK. I disconnected the battery negative and that did the trick! Very good outcome! I had to reset some electronics inside the car, like the radio, electric seats, etc... No big deal. Thanks a bunch. :)

Hey Danny I hope to hear from you soon for I am stuck In a hard spot. This wouldn't be so hard if I had access to a code scanner but i do not.. none of my neighbors have one and I am almost an hour away from the nearest shop with the broken vehicle being my only one at the moment. My wife had the 03 Infiniti G35 at work and she called me saying there was a VDC, Slip & At Check and check engine light and the oil light was on. All the resivors were about half full and the oil maybe needed half a quart if that. The blinkers, taillights and the head lights (50%) of the time do not work. The car does not run very good cant make it to work until it's fixed. My neighbor is running me to advance 1 time get parts. If it's not fixed or I guess wrong im fuced. My final guess before I go is cam shaft sensor. Let me know what you think

Hey the light is flashing it means you have a tire low Make sure your 4 tires are at 35 psi It can make all that lights come on That happened on my car One of my tire was low on air I put 35 psi I turn off the car then turn on and not more lights!

I have a 2006 G35X and the Slip, VCD Off and Brake lights all came on this morning. I read it can be as simple as being the car needs break fluid to worn break pads etc. I had mine towed to a trustworthy mechanic and hopefully I’ll have it back in a few days. You’re the man! Thank you. I recently replaced camshaft sensor b1 on 2008 fx 35. Since then vdc, slip lights won’t turn off and its been stalling in motion. Added some coolant and battery was unplugged for 10+ minutes. Should be good now. Do you have recommendation on fuel saving? Recently changed both air filters and where am I is extremely cold with traffic jam. Do you recommend fuel injector cleaning additive?

I would only suggest adding some sea foam to the gas tank only (one gallon of gas for each ounce, so you’ll want to put it in when filling the tank). Otherwise, use the cruise control when you are driving steady and that’s the best milage you’ll get. It does make a difference

I'm 3 for 3 on this procedure. It works GREAT! Thanks for the video. I have a 2005 Infiniti G35 manual transmission sedan. This has happened 3 or 4 times in the last couple of months. In at least two cases, lights came on after hitting a speed bump. Today, I didn't even bother to disconnect the battery. I just started the engine, did a sharp left hand circle. Pump stopped but lights still on. Turned off the car. Started it, did the left turn again and lights cleared. Tested the VDC control button and it functions on/off again. Fluid levels look OK but I'm going to top them off to see if things improve.

@@scottyscott1898 I never got around to it yet, but things have been fine for the last 2 weeks. It's only a matter of time before it does it again. The majority of threads point to the relay as the issue. It's just an expensive gamble. For now I'll keep doing the occasional cheap reset until it gets too frequent. I need to do the control arm bushings, so I'll look for a loose sensor or wiring. Seems odd that every time it happens corresponds to hitting a speed bump.

For a titan truck.. So I replaced a relay for the horn and the slip light came on and stayed on. All electrics work, no issue with brakes, sensors, all fluid levels maximum.... Checked the fuse box ground.... Did the whole drive straight and unhook the battery things.... No luck, still on. It's the only light on. What can clear this darn light out? I can't see the 2wd 4x4 icon and select drive mode with the slip light on. Any ideas on the fix?

So I have a 2005 6MT g35 and those three lights come on randomly as I drive the car and once I turn off the car, I hear the buzzing you talk about and I have to try and get the car to re-test the abs system by restarting it and driving a little then maybe the buzzing will go away. My fluids are all topped off but I do have 2 different codes coming up. I have one for an O2 sensor and another for the pnp switch. I changed the pnp switch but the code still comes up

I would start with the codes and get the 02 replaced, but if you are hearing the buzzing, it sounds like it’s the abs module/pump. You can try gently tapping on it, but if it just won’t go away it may need to be replaced

Good evening, I use an online translator, so forgive me if the translation is incorrect. I have a Nissan Skyline v36 of 2007, there was a regular gearbox without blocking, I looked at one of the descriptions on this forum, where a person tells how he cut the black wire on the G sensor and connected it to the toggle switch and did the same. it didn’t help, slip lights up on the scoreboard and the car doesn’t go into a skid, I decided that it was because of the gearbox, I bought a gearbox with a lock, but the problem is the same, the car just starts to skid and the damn “slip” lights up, the car instantly stops “drifting” ", can you tell me what's the matter? For me I have an 07 6mt coupe g35 and the car just jerked and my check engine ,slip and vdc light came on i shut the car off i turned it back on all lights were still on later that day i disconnected the battery from the car and waited 10 min i connected it back and the check all lights went away but as i drove off the car jerked again and my vdc and slip light came on and to this day after i drive a few feet to the left the lights will come on

Awesome video, quick question. I was driving and all the sudden I couldn't accerate anymore. I was able to press on the gas pedal and cruise at 5MPH, but the slip and that kicked on. I let it sit off for a bit, but I put a coolent leak to patch this crack so there was no coolent. I do think it ran out of coolent for the radiator and that's why that happen. Any idea?

The car likely went into “limp mode.” Once all fluids are full you’ll need to take the battery cable off and let it reset for 10 minutes.

If you go into limp mode and have little to no engine power and the lights light up like xmas trees your service engine soon light and slip lights are on its more than likely one of your camshaft or crankshaft angle sensors on the fritz. In that case I'd try to have the engine code pulled from autozone or a similar outfit. If it's one of the camshaft angle sensors the code will show which one (car has 2). If the code points to crankshaft angle sensor there's only one. Either one of those 3 sensors going out can cause your loss of power and it would be the first thing to check as they are know to be problematic on g35's. About 65 bucks will get you a new sensor and they aren't too bad to replace yourself.

If the tire is full it’s most likely the sensor that is battery operated. The battery will die and it’s part of the valve stem so you have to remove the tire kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIaxdal7r7qdnqs

just got scammed out of a g35 and this slip light comes on and will limit power ( ABS , VDC OFF) are both staying on and the slip warning will flash when i drive sometimes

I tried to do this and it came back on so many times...I have had a problem for a year and a half and taken my car to several mechanics.... and had to do a manual reset everytime before I start the car just for me to figure out it was a position sensor...the position sensor fixed my problem and I can start my car like normal again

I have the same issue with my 2005 pathfinder. Took it to Nissan and they told me there was a circuit break on the left rear speed sensor. I replaced the sensor twice and still giving same error. My ABS/VD/SLIP and now my 4WD and Brake light is on. WTF.. Dealer want to replace my wiring setup for $1500... And it's not even a guarantee to fix the problem. I'll try checking the fluids and disconnecting battery when I get home. I need the 4x here in Wisconsin.

Hey Danny, so I have a 07 g35 6mt coupe. The other day I had run into some tarp like material that i couldn't avoid and it wrapped into the rear diff area. I was fortunate to remove it all and did the battery reset but lights are still on: slip, abs, vdc, and ras. Could it be the rear speed sensor got damaged? Any suggestions?

Yes, I would think it’s the rear speed/abs sensor. You’ll see the spoked ring on the inner side of each axle near the differential that the sensor mesures. Check that area

Just a brief update. So it turned out one my speed sensor right by the diff was bent out far enough that it is not close enough to get a good reading. and I have ordered a replacement. I'll attempt to fix it soon. *crossing fingers*

So an update, I was able to fix it! Unfortunately the sensors I bought didnt fit and I had to work with the original. I had to bend the flange part so that the sensor was back to its original position. And at first only the abs light went away then I restarted and all the lights went away. I thank you so much for saving me lots of money from bringing it to the shop. Your insight triggered positive events that led to success. I hope you continue to share your knowledge with others!

Hey Danny, I have this issue commonly on my 2005 G35x and it started just when the snow started falling. Usually these lights turn on when my ABS kicks in then they stay on. The buzzing stops after 1 minute of normal driving but the lights stay on until I turn off the car and then start it back up. All my fluids are topped up and now I am wondering if it is the wheel speed sensor. Any tips you can give would be fantastic!

You can try cleaning the wheel speed sensor. It’s a magnet and picks up a lot of debris. This is on a mustang, but the same thing. If you watch the video you’ll see what I mean. Hey I have a 2004 Pathfinder Armada with the big 5-6 V8 and the guy I got it from left the resonators but which he thought was the Cadillac converters actually but left the front resonators and took off the back Cadillac converters. Anyways so after I get it from my find out there's a bunch of different shit wrong with it as far as alignment and suspension she like that the air ride or the rear leveling was taken out and I just got a new springs for it new shocks but so far I've only replaced the one shock and while my buddy was helping me do this I told him about how sometimes I've nowhere very rarely at low speeds when I come to a stop sign, it it's like the ABS kicks in and like I'm riding on metal or something like I have no brake pads and I can just stop shut the car off and turn back on it and it's gone and I'd like that problem to be completely gone Plus I don't really care for traction control LOL but anyways we unplugged the green fuse for the ABS the one with the clear top and the regular ABS fuse Eminem I have all my lights on my VDC light and my brake light is on I don't have no idea why my brake light is on and I was wondering if that might have something to do with it some kind of vacuum leak or something but anyways they got vidi vici slip ABS service engine soon brake light and then my four-wheel drive is on to and I didn't even have an ABS light on for I just felt it you know what I mean and actually today Just for kicks to see if I can get it to come out of 4 wheel drive or or not that it wasn't in four-wheel drive but just so that I can change something I put it in Auto and it turned it into four-wheel drive and I noticed that when I went around the parking lot at Walmart real sharp I could tell that it was in 4 wheel drive limited slip.. Ok Danny just watched video today and you gave great info....but what you think the problem is if it's not starting back up. The security red light is not on and the key will not turn

Gavin Hampton You were saying the key is blocked and will not turn? Try slightly turning the steering wheel and then trying to turn the key

I hit a pot hole hard once and all the lights came on and then it came off after making like 3 runs with my car to places and I guess I went over “rumble” speed bump regular speed and these lights came on again and it’s annoying to me. I haven’t made any runs anywhere so I wanted to see if I can get these lights off by pressing somthing on my 08 Infiniti G35x…I guess I’ll just wait till they go off on it’s own like last time.

It can also be a dirty wheel speed sensor or a sensor like the cam position, crank position, mass airflow, etc

I've changed the ecu, abs pump, crankshaft, camshaft, oil pressure sensor , o2 sensor , replaced clips of battery NEG & POS ... and still have lights c1142 code for 350z 2005 Ani Ed. Any help would be great already down 9k still not fixed 😒 😕 🙄 😑

My sparkplugs and coils were just replaced after that went home when I made turn car turned off engin light came on and all other lights did what your. Video showed lights came off but it still turned off as I'm driving
