G37 Megan Strut Tower Brace/Bar Install Easy Handling Upgrade

Installing a Megan strut brace to finish up handling mods on my G37. Its the easiest upgrade installation so far. I didn't even get my hands dirty for once. Once I get the alignment done I'll see how in handles with the new setup.

the thread locker is good for the first 3 bolts on each side , but not for the 2 bolt/nuts on the top bar, cause you gonna have to remove that every time you remove the engine cover or change an ignition coil(p0300-p03006) or spark plugs or plenum upgrade

Has anyone noticed if the engine cover makes contact with the brace when it is adjusted close to it during hard acceleration? I'm not sure how much this engine actually "torques" under full load.

I have it set as low as possible. It can be adjusted higher if needed but no touching for me yet.

@@jbrosupra As it turned out for me I've had to set this bar as low as the adjustment would allow without further modification. Even then the hood blanket just touches in two very small spots. This isn't a problem at all but does indicate that there is very little space between the hood blanket and the engine cover to begin with.

Do u feel the difference after installed

I did springs and struts/shocks at the same time so I am not sure how big a difference it made from just the strut bar. The car overall feels alot better and handles great. It was cheap and looks good under the hood.

Why? It is literally a metal bar... It’s not like it is a Sensor where you want to make sure it is actually OEM. Lots of legit items on eBay, just do your research and look at seller reviews.

You can buy that straight from the Megan Racing site for $109 or get the same thing on eBay (like I did) for $85. It's the exact same part, not some rip off Chinese part.
