Jack Rieger Yes!!! That’s my wife’s primary complaint but I guess we will end up with an entirely new car because so far it seems we can not easily and seamlessly add any damn tech functionality anywhere.

@Jack, it wont work through the usb port. I installed a FM transmitter /3.5mm plug in the car. I just received an fm transmitter/ bluetooth module and it is waiting on deck to be installed. One of my complaints as well as the g37 was sold to me as a "luxury" car....yet a corolla has that feature and we do not! WTH!

Dude! You're a genius! Definitely need to do a how to on how to put a tablet on there. Ive seen some g37 with a Tesla screen for g37/g35 but that's a bit pricey. That tablet is just enough 👌🏼

I have the Tesla screen ($650-$700) in mine currently. I have a 13 g37 coupe. The tablet he has is a bit faster than mine, more apps, and consistent internet access. I'm curious about his connectivity 🤔

@@edwinbanegas6086 I like it a lot. The interface is really cool, the Bose sound is great (u can customize your sound profile to your liking). I don't regret spending the money at all. It's a little slower than his unit but other than that, no complaints. Biggest task was navigation as I had to download offline Google Maps. But I'm sure if I get a mobile hotpot for in-car use, I can use Google Maps with real-time traffic 👍🏼

Cool video was debating the Nexus install as well but think I'll just settle for the tesla style screen. So far haven't heard too much negative reviews about it yet and it's under $600 shipped.

I had a 2013 g37 it had usb instead of the colored circles but I sold it and bought a modded out 2008 g37 and now I miss the USB port because I used to charge my phone and listen to music at the same time is there a way I can upgrade my 2008 g37 like my 2013 one?

Thanks! The indash tablet is awesome and it takes people not familiar with the car a minute to wrap their heads around it. I just got all the parts in for the rear brake light so it'll take some time to shoot the install and post it.

I agree with the other peeps, g37 owners need this setup. I have a 2011 g37s Anniversary Edition Pandora sucks on the stock Navigation head unit bluetooth connection throttles the volume way down. Like so many before me, and i'm sure you are tired of being asked, I want/need this setup please. I have searched high and low, spent hours at installers, shops, on forums and no luck. I'm not a fan of the tesla look, like someone else said previously, I want that stock like. Would appreciate the help.

Ebay, they are verde v99 graphite. The color looks very similar to the oem paint.

Good eye! I total had forgotten about those but they add a nice touch! I fond those on ebay for $4.74 the set of 4, two years ago. Search for "4pcs 21mm X 17mm High Silver Amplifier Test Volume Tone Rotary Control Knob" Let me know if you have any issues finding them.

If the car is not turned on for 24 hours, only 2-3 % is used. The car itself does not use any additional battery. Since 2012, I have gone through 2 batteries, or about a battery every 4 to 5 years which I feel is average.

I am currently using SiriusLED H8 Size DRL Fog Light LED 30W 6000k Super Bright White Projection Bulb Pack of 2. I had bought some other generic ones on ebay but those did not last more than 6 months. These i have had for two years and no problems and they look closer to HID's than the yellow OEM bulbs.

Hey, love the upgrades. I have a 2011 G37 Black Convertible. I don't have all the upgrades you have (don't have the funds like that). Consider changing the "puddle lights" on your doors with the Infiniti name and symbol. Got them on Amazon. I looks kinda cool at night when you open the door. Also, consider changing your light bulbs inside to LEDS.

The way I did it, about $400 in parts and the labor I did it myself across two weekends.

Keep in mind this is a very technical install, not a good one if you don't know your way around cars and stereos. I'll post video's on how to do it and you can judge for yourself before starting.

While I wanted a more aggressive look, I wasn't trying to join stance nation. I was looking to try and maintain ride comfort as much as possible so I went with Swift 4N908 Sport Lowering Springs, dropped 1.2 inches in the front and 0.8 inch in the back.

I can still see everything the stock screen showed. This is not just a android slapped on the car, no, this allows me to see the AC temp, the radio station #, stock back up cam, etc, plus do all the things a rooted tablet can, i can switch between view(OEM vs tablet) when ever i want with a touch of an app. I am thinking of relocating the stock screen to the sun glass holder and just having it on all the time. What do you think about that?

I embedded a mobile hotspot in the sunglass holder that stays on 24-7. I hot wired it to the rear view mirror as my mirror is powered with auto dimming and compass. I post about that mod soon.
