I'm now back wanting to use my Flex 5000 for FT8. Your Virtual Audio Cable setup is easy to follow. But I don't understand how the ComOCom comes into play. I did not see how the serial ports are assigned in WSJTX program. Please explain how you did that?

Hi, I have watched this video and implemented VAC. But my Flex-1500 does not key up when transmitting on WSPR or on FlDigi. Other web sources mention DDutil and VSP Manager. Are you using those too? How do you get your Flex to key?

very nice video, I just received a anan200d and I am trying to setup HRD on it , I followed your video and got it working ,, only thing is when I xmit dm780 like psk my sound is very crackly and poping and the tone does not sound correct , I was listening from a different radio , any suggestions ,Thanks KD8KOR

One of the things that bugs me about PSDR is that I often like to have CW Skimmer running (VAC1 via I/Q) while I'm running WSJT (VAC2). But then I can't seem to locate a way to provide Audio output to my speakers at the same time. Well I have a work around, but I really don't prefer it. My Work around is to either point CW Skimmer Audio I/O to the PC Speakers, but then I loose PSDR Audio filtering to the speakers since it's routed via CW Skimmer. The other is to run VAC Audio Repeater off VAC2 and share audio out from VAC2 to PC Speakers via the repeater, and also still feed WSJT off VAC2. Anyone know if there's a better way?

You need to use the "repeater" tool in VAC to do this.

I spent the past three hours trying to use vac with hdsdr and wsjt-x. I followed another KZbin guy and when I was done the two softwares above no longer function nor did vac. I guess I'll try this guy next in about a month when I recover.

VAC driver is unstable! For me, tool called audio repeater pro worked.
