Daniel and Joey both had receipts that proved Gabbie absolutely was embellishing her story about her experience on Escape The Night. Maybe the state of her mental health played a role in how she perceived things at the time and afterward, but it's still undeniable that she was not sharing her experience in a way that lined up with the truth and reality in that specific instance. Daniel calling someone boring a few days ago doesn't change that.

She literally switched from one to the other. There’s one thing I’m grateful for though… the fact that I told myself I’d never get cosmetic surgery, ever. Even at the worst time with my nose, which I felt looked like a Mario nose, I still didn’t get anything done… and I’m glad for that. Especially since now my husband tells me he loved my nose and thinks it’s cute! … it just sucks about my weight and how I let my mom influence me that much…

Whatever doctor Gabbie went to should legit be sued for medical malpractice. Literally everything they did was extremely irresponsible. There are plenty of responsible plastic surgeons and medical aestheticians who don't go out of their way to promote insecurities. Medical aesthetics is a legit field of medicine that helps so many people. And for them to abuse that power they genuinely should be sued.

Just some input here… I am someone who saved a long time to get a nose job. I was bullied about my nose and wanted it done my entire life. Finally got one in 2019 and it opened a whole new struggle. Something they don’t tell you is that your brain struggles to recognize yourself afterwards for a long time. I would have breakdowns worse than before for months. So I can see how it could lead some people to getting more work done because now you have a whole new identity crisis. You want to fix it and do more to feel better about yourself. Anyway, I’m ok now, I still struggle a little even though its been almost 5 years since my procedure.

i think ultimately the real motive behind the companies offering free services is that they know that influencers hold influence, if you see all your favorite content creators having a procedure done then you’ll see it as normal to have that thing done and ultimately it’ll create a beauty standard (which then brings in customers/clients for the place doing them)

@@nflixnchillz3189 Edit: Joey’s ex is Daniel Danielle is a woman’s name. First off how is my take weird??? If someone I was friends with. Did something as scummy as Colleen did. I would make the point to clarify that I don’t condone what she did. And that I wouldn’t be friends with her publicly or privately any longer. It wouldn’t matter if I was out of the country on vacation, if I was getting help in the hospital, I would have my manager make a statement saying I don’t aline myself with her beliefs or behavior. Or if I was doing something else. I would take the time to say the statement on a KZbin video or in a tweet or on instagram. But I would make it crystal clear that I wasn’t a part of her nasty behavior and that I was done and wouldn’t be her friend privately or publicly any longer. You take the time to do that no matter how busy you are. Because you are judged by the company you keep. And not speaking up saying that you don’t agree with her is the very same difference as if you were right beside her doing it too. And besides if Grace Helbig could take time to talk it over with Mamrie Hart and make a statement that way. Gabbie could have done that. Her making no statement is like saying she doesn’t believe it, or she doesn’t think Colleen did nothing wrong.

@@Idontwant1 With all due respect, it is very entitled of you to require people to speak out about something that they may not want to talk about just in order to convince YOU that they don't condone what YOU think another person is guilty of. You can't possibly know the actual truth for certain as someone who is just a member of the general public. Not everyone believes that Colleen is guilty of everything that she was accused of btw. You are treating allegations as though they are facts and that is not okay. As is often the case, lies and misinformation have undoubtedly been presented and circulated along with some truths. Cancel culture is very toxic. The responsible and moral thing to do is to NOT add to the gossip. To expect anyone and everyone in Colleen's life to speak out against her and/or disown her is absurd and really messed up.

Requiring people to publicly speak out about something that they don't have first hand knowledge about is far more ''unhinged'' than anything that I said in my comment. The REALITY is that not everyone wants to contribute to online hate and gossip. If you actually paid attention to what I wrote then you'd see that my comment did not include any 'personal takes' on any individual or on any of the drama. When I was at school, we had a lesson on self esteem and mental wellbeing. It started with discussions about how the media upholds unrealistic standards of beauty and students shared how unfair this is and how it has impacted their self confidence. We were then shown pictures of celebrities with and without photoshop, and the majority of the class laughed and joked about how 'ugly' the celebrities were without photoshop. The irony was not lost on me. My class' attitude and reaction to the celebs without photoshop was the exact reason why and no different to the unrealistic beauty standards in the media. No one can win this way

Filler was for people whose age has gotten the skin to sink in. That usually happens around 40 and 50. If you do it at that stage of your skin it will give you the volume from when you are younger. So until the moment your natural collagen has left the chat, it’ll look unnatural. So even 25 would be too young, at least for fillers. So I think as a society we need to change the way young people feel about themselves and have them enjoy their natural youth. No judgement towards people who have done anything before. Just from a scientific view, it would make more sense and would give the results people want, which is looking “young”. So in general, maybe we should get “old” before considering wanting to look young. I hope that made sense

Myofacial therapy is something more people need to know about. Filler stretches out your skin and makes it so you have to keep getting it or it looks droopy. People don’t talk about it but more people than not feel like this after they get work done. Unless it’s a medical reason it’s actually rare to like the first round of work you get done. The reason why so many things are pushed on you to fix is because they know once they get you once it won’t be enough.

It's so nice to be at that point in life where you can say f it to society's ever changing standards of beauty. All of yall are beautiful just the way you are, if you want to get work done, go ahead, do what you think will make you happy but you don't need it and anyone that says you do are either making money off your insecurities or are very vain and shallow ppl. Because in the end, it's the way that you treat others that make you beautiful not because of any perceived "flaws" you or others see
@AndieFlowers36 ай бұрын
The way you address and overcome your insecurities is not to run and remove them or change whatever you don’t like! It’s actually accepting yourself with them. Even if you get surgery, Botox or filler, you will still be insecure about that part, deep down you will always check it, look it, compare it, you are never fully done.

I've made a promise to myself that I'll never get cosmetic surgery, fillers etc unless absolutely necessary or if i'm in an accident etc. The only exception is my teeth, I've never had good teeth so if I had the money I'd fix them all and leave it at that. I completely recognise how much of a slippery slope it is. Learning to love yourself the way you already are is harder, but WAY more worth it imo. If people stopped changing the ways we looked and worked on acceptance instead, the world would BE WAYYYYY better.

BUT SERIOUSLY if you’re going to get any cosmetic procedures done, PLEASE:: - **DO NOT** go the “cheap route” - go to a LICENSED PRACTITIONER - one you can actually look up their credentials (certifications without a license is moot) - if you don’t like what one doctor says or have a “weird feeling”, LISTEN TO YOUR GUT - that consultation is also an interview for them, to see if they’ll get the job of doing the procedure - also, watch like every season of botched or botched bodies I’m an RN and we’ve had people (more younger than older) come in with infections, weird reactions to whatever “filler” was used, all sorts of weird/bizarre stuff cuz they took the “cheaper” route or didn’t do their do-diligence or simply got scammed. All the patients we had lived but some were permanently altered, scarred or had nerve damage/issues afterwards. Not trying to scare anyone but I love people (for the most part) and I don’t want anyone getting hurt, injured or worse off. ❤❤

I work in the sleep industry and here are some things you might try if you're concerned about puffiness and dropping from uneven tension on your face while you sleep on your side: -silk pillowcase (not satin) is a bit of an upfront investment but it will outlive you if you take care of it [PureCare has an A1 Mulberry silk case that's a reasonable price imo]; -GENTLE myofascial massage--it's a trend right now to do aggressive fascia massage but that will injure your face; -sleeping with your head and torso elevated/inclined ~12°-15° or higher will reduce facial and sinus swelling and improve breathing. An adjustable bed is great for this but if you don't have one you can get a wedge pillow to sleep on. If you're mattress is NOT a connected-coil type (either "independently-wrapped coil" or all-foam), you can try putting pillows or blankets folded in a wedge shape and placed under the head of your mattress between the mattress and foundation. Try it a few nights and see if it improves whatever condition and if it does, you should look into a more permanent inclined sleeping setup like an adjustable bed.
